Electric Moto Rider Poaches Bike Trails Without Helmet

There is a lot of work that goes in behind the scenes to allow mountain bike trails to exist. Land managers deal with a lot of red tape and liability.

It is not hard to act in a way that can jeopardize trail access. Anything from unauthorized building to littering can anger land managers.

Another thing that can cause a similar reaction is taking a motorcycle on the trail without a helmet. Watch one Redditor ride his Surron around a mountain bike trail below.

In this video, a Reddit user rides around some trails which you can tell from the wooden drop in the background are trails for mountain biking.

A rider without a helmet on a motorbike that can go 70 mph is a land manager's worst nightmare.

It is important to note that a Surron is not an e-bike. Even if electric bikes are legal on this trail, the Surron is not classified legally as one, so they are only legal to ride moto trails. See a helpful guide about legal electric bikes below.

One thing to remember is that in order to not threaten trail access, never ride something that is illegal in an area.
