Ourself HA+ Replenishing Serum

Ourself HA+ Replenishing Serum ($145)

I love the chic packaging on Ourself's HA+ Replenishing Serum, and I’m equally obsessed with my skin since using it. Hyaluronic acid products tend to be a bit sticky, but not this formula. It’s lightweight, easily absorbs into my skin, and leaves it nourished and supple. My skin has been on the drier side lately, so I’ve been loving the extra boost of hydration this product provides.

Eos Shea Butter Moisture Body Lotion

Eos Shea Butter Moisture Body Lotion ($13)

I'm not saying TikTok inspired me to try this body lotion, but yes, it did. Like most of the app's recommendations that I've tried, I definitely see why this body lotion has gone viral. My new favorite part of my body care routine has been slathering my skin in this formula. From the delicious vanilla scent to the moisturizing shea oil, my skin is hydrated and smooth all day long.

Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm

Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm ($10)

Naturium just gets me. It's like the brand had me in mind when creating the Phyto-Glow Lip Balm in Spice, as it's my perfect nude shade. Not only does it provide the perfect sheer color, but it's formulated with shea butter, cupuaçu butter, and plant squalane to keep my lips smooth and moisturized. The brand's new café collection contains four beautiful nude shades and is definitely worth the investment.

Universal Thread Long Sleeve Denim Maxi Shirtdress

Universal Thread Long Sleeve Denim Maxi Shirtdress ($44)

On a random Target run for shampoo, the wind blew me into the clothing section, where I found the denim dress of my fall dreams. The length is perfect, it can be styled with sneakers or knee-high boots, and it's super easy to wear. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in more colors, because I'd have them all in my closet.

Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed

Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed ($158)

I was on the hunt for a comfy pair of shoes I could slide on to run errands, but these clogs quickly became staples that I've worn out to work and lunch on more than one occasion. They're super comfy, versatile, and quite frankly hard to keep in stock. They look just as good with a pair of tube socks and leggings as they do with a pair of jeans—the styling possibilities are endless.

Lisa Eldridge Black Treacle Seamless Glide Eye Pencil

Lisa Eldridge Black Treacle Seamless Glide Eye Pencil ($30)

I used to think that no Lisa Eldridge product would compare to the brand's stunning lipsticks, but when I recently got my hands on these newly-released pencil eyeliners, I had to reconsider. These are arguably the most creamy and pigmented pencil eyeliners I've tried to date, and I've tried dozens. The formula is soft and easy to apply without tugging at the eyelids, it delivers fully opaque color in one swipe, and perhaps the best part is that you can smudge and diffuse it without it getting patchy or dry. Once you've set the liner to your liking, it locks in place for all-day wear. If you're looking for a new eyeliner pencil that you can rely on, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Fenty Beauty The Gloss Bomb Vault

Fenty Beauty The Gloss Bomb Vault Full-Size Universal Lip Luminizer 10-Piece Set ($150)

I've been a fan of Fenty Beauty's iconic lip gloss since it first released years ago, and I still get excited each time the brand drops a new shade. So, it's safe to say that I squealed a bit when I got my hands on this vault set for the holidays. It includes a variety of colors across the classic, plumping, and cream formulas, making it the perfect gift for your loved ones (or yourself) this season.

Prequel Barrier Therapy Skin Protectant Cream

Prequel Barrier Therapy Skin Protectant Cream ($18)

It's not often that I fall in love with a new moisturizer, but this one from Prequel quickly swept me off my feet. Not only is the formula packed with soothing colloidal oatmeal and barrier-protecting ceramides, but this massive tube costs just $18. The texture is lightweight yet still thoroughly hydrating, and it layers beautifully with other products. If you're looking for an affordable moisturizer that's suitable for all skin types and nourishing yet not greasy, I urge you to give this one a try.

Rails Everest Jacket

Rails Everest Jacket ($398)

The hunt for the perfect camel coat started for me last year, and it's finally led me to this one from Rails. The oversized fit is modern but maintains a classic design, and I love that it's warm but still great for layering since it's not too thick or bulky. It's an excellent piece for the fall season, but it can also transition to winter with a cozy sweater underneath—it's seriously an investment piece worth considering.

Polite Society Greatest Lashes of All Time Mascara

Polite Society Greatest Lashes of All Time Mascara ($27)

Finding the right mascara that adds volume, length, lift, and curl to my super-straight lashes has always been a tall order—that is, until I found this one, with its amazing tapered starburst brush that features a crown tip. The design allows me to be precise when grabbing and guiding each individual lash, so I can build up product and create shape with zero mess. I also feel good about the formula, which is vegan, cruelty-free, PETA-approved, and ophthalmologist-tested (making this a good option for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers).

Peach & Lily Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream

Peach & Lily Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream ($43)

I’m currently scraping the bottom (and sides and lid) of this container clean, as this luxe cream perfectly complements my combination skin. Despite its rich “pudding” consistency, this pick is still lightweight—a requirement for me—and the formula truly hydrates, boosts radiance, and firms, creating a youthful glow. The antioxidants in this cream (matcha, cape lilac extract, niacinamide, and adenosine) have breathed new life into my skin, and just in time for cold, dry weather, too.

Iris & Romeo Power Peptide Lip Balm

Iris & Romeo Power Peptide Lip Balm ($26)

If there's one product I keep in tow from day to day, it’s currently this sheer, buttery lip balm in the shade Chestnut. Even on no-makeup days (which are most days at the moment), a touch of this deep plum tint to my lips and cheeks adds natural-looking color and glow to my complexion. Another plus: It’s made with clinical levels of collagen-boosting, biomimetic triple-peptides to hydrate and plump, along with an array of ultra-nourishing oils and butters.

Reformation Stevie Pant

Reformation Stevie Pant ($198)

These Reformation trousers are my secret to looking like I put a lot of thought and effort into my look without actually having to do anything. And even better: They’re as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants. The contrast fold–over waistband elevates the classic silhouette in a fun, sophisticated way, and the lightweight woven fabric is deliciously soft. I love to pair them with a tight white t-shirt, chic brown sunnies, and loafers or white sneakers (sometimes even a vintage baseball hat) for that model-off-duty, quiet luxury vibe.

Abi Amé Summer Skin

Abi Amé Summer Skin ($38)

Summer may be long over, but that doesn't mean we're putting away our lightweight moisturizers. Sometimes all you need is a little fast-absorbing hydration (regardless of the weather), and this moisturizer provides just that. The consistency is akin to a serum, so it glides right on and dries down fast—you don't have to worry about rubbing in lotion for ages or getting greasy stains on your clothes. And even with the convenience, it's actually hydrating, thanks to ingredients including niacinamide and oat extract. All this makes it especially ideal for when you're on the move, and the travel size is a must-have for your carry-on.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Foundation

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation ($40)

Confession: When Fenty's Pro Filt'r Foundation first came out, I actually wasn't a fan. Of course, I admired and appreciated what Rihanna achieved, but the formula just didn't work with my 2019 skin and I couldn't find a shade that was quite right. But on my 2023 skin, it's a whole different story. The formula gives me the satin-matte finish I crave (with excellent wear time), and the recent-ish shade extension has provided me with a perfect match. Let this be a lesson on the importance of second chances—because man, am I happy I decided to give this one another go.

D.S. & Durga Deluxe Box Set

D.S. & Durga Deluxe Box Set ($250)

In our fall fragrance roundup, Byrdie contributor Nina Slesinger described D.S. & Durga as specializing "in melding the familiar with the strange," and I think she hit the nail on the head. The brand's fragrances kind of exist in a fabulous uncanny valley: They often smell like a familiar, pleasant scent, but slightly, delightfully askew. This six-piece set of minis is a great way to experiment with the brand and switch up your scent on the daily while also dabbling in some layering moments. That way, you really aren't going to smell quite like anyone else.

Abercrombie & Fitch Midweight Suiting Wide Leg Cargo Pant

Abercrombie & Fitch Midweight Suiting Wide Leg Cargo Pant ($110)

These pants, paired with the matching bomber jacket ($120), have become something like my own personal Traveling Pants; but instead of fitting a whole group of friends, it 's a 'fit for every situation. I've worn them to work (then dinner after), a Broadway show, and I'll probably bring them home for the holidays in case I need to look put-together at some point. The overall look is so chic and subdued, it makes me want to experiment more with "uniform" dressing.

Blundstone x L.L.Bean Originals Chelsea Boots

Blundstone x L.L.Bean Originals Chelsea Boots ($220)

I'm a pretty committed indoorswoman, so boots crafted by two of the most outdoorsy brands out there—Blundstone and L.L.Bean—might not seem like an obvious match for my lifestyle. But as anyone who lives in New York City knows, there are as many hurdles on a commute as there are on a hiking trail. (The challenges are less "beautiful nature" and more "wow, that's gross," but still.) These boots are such a comfortable and stylish alternative when I don't want to wear sneakers or am looking for something that looks a little tougher.

Kaja Juicy Glass Lip Oil

Kaja Juicy Glass Lip Oil ($18)

My perpetually dry lips lead me to constantly gravitate towards hydrating lip products, but I find many to be disappointing in the pigment department. This one from Kaja gives me the look I want from a tinted lip oil: It's not as dramatic as a full lipstick, but provides noticeable color and shine. It feels super nourishing as well thanks to vitamin tree fruit oil, and I find myself reaching for it almost every day. This K-beauty brand really knows what it's doing when it comes to crafting a product that balances form and function.

Ellis Brooklyn Myth Spectacular Scented Body Oil

Ellis Brooklyn Myth Spectacular Scented Body Oil ($65)

I love body oils for their ability to provide a touch of light nourishment after a shower or any time, but it takes something special for one to stand out from the rest. This body oil from Ellis Brooklyn has the it factor in the form of the brand's Myth fragrance, which is warm and subtly spicy with notes of ambrette seeds, jasmine petals, and musk. The formula is lightweight, yet it's also luxe and effectively hydrating. One of the best tips for smelling good all day long is to layer a scented body oil or lotion with your perfume, so I appreciate that Ellis has thought this through with several matching products for its beloved fragrances.

Hermès Ombres d'Hermès Eyeshadow Quartet

Hermès Ombres d'Hermès Eyeshadow Quartet in Ombres Marines ($108)

Team Byrdie recently tried the new Hermès Le Regard eye makeup collection, and while I was initially intimidated by the fact that I was testing out blue eyeshadow with the Ombres Marines quartet, the formula and color palette are so luxe and well-thought-out that it's now one of my go-to options. Three of the shades create a nice neutral smoky eye, and you can use the rich blue either as an allover statement or as an accent color on your lash line (or wherever you want). I opted for the latter and paired it with the brand's equally impressive brown mascara, and both products have me excited about experimenting more with my eye makeup.

Bleusalt The Sleeveless Turtleneck

Bleusalt The Sleeveless Turtleneck ($140)

Fall weather, while endlessly fun to dress for, can also be tricky in a practical sense: Sometimes, you want a cozy, layered look but are well aware that it could leave you overheated. This turtleneck's sleeveless design makes it perfect for layering under a blazer or leather jacket. What's more, the Tencel material is so soft and the neutral color options are the ideal base for the quiet luxury look of your dreams.

Pandora Talisman Lab-Grown Diamond Star Pendant

Pandora Talisman Lab-Grown Diamond Star Pendant ($390)

More and more jewelry houses are now offering lab-grown diamonds, which is a welcome trend for anyone who loves a luxe touch of sparkle but isn't sure how to feel about the natural diamond industry. Pandora's collection is full of special, stunning pieces from earrings to bracelets, and the pendants are the perfect entryway to the lab-grown diamond world. Several settings are available, but I love the subtle star on a piece this small, as you get to show it off to anyone who loves your necklace but didn't initially notice the details.

The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition Eau de Parfum

The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition Eau de Parfum ($88)

I love cherry perfumes: They’re subtly sweet but offer a bit of a bite that has everyone in the room wondering what you’re wearing. However, very few options on the market strike the right chord of sweetness without leaning into syrupy territory. Enter: The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition, a warm, spicy gourmand fragrance that features cherry, saffron, vanilla, and sandalwood. It’s therapeutic in nature and provides a certain aura that exudes confidence and sexiness.

Manucurist Paris Moon Nail Polish

Manucurist Paris Moon Nail Polish ($14)

This month, I wanted to find a nail polish that was a little easier on the environment and would actually last for more than a day. I found all that and more in Manicurist Paris’s Moon—an iridescent white polish made from plant-based ingredients. The pearly shade suited me well through three weddings, one moving day, and general clumsiness, plus it garnered tons of compliments in the process.

Abercrombie & Fitch Collarless Boucle Jacket

Abercrombie & Fitch Collarless Boucle Jacket ($160)

Everyone’s wearing tweed jackets this fall, and this one from Abercrombie is great for getting the look at an accessible price. It comes in three colors—cream, navy, and black—and sizes XXS through XL. It instantly elevates every outfit I’ve worn with it and makes me feel instantly more polished and put-together. You’ll want to snag this one soon before it sells out.

Lake Nora Cotton Cardigan

Lake Nora Cotton Cardigan ($175)

There’s nothing I love more than a good sweater, especially when the weather cools down. This varsity-inspired sweater is my new favorite (I wore it all month long), and people are shocked when I tell them it’s from Lake—a.k.a. the viral pajama brand. It’s the perfect mix of roomy yet form-fitting, plus it’s made from 100% cotton, so it has a bit of weight to it without contributing to overheating.

Byredo Super Cedar

Byredo Super Cedar ($205)

I’m partial to a woody scent year-round, but once fall hits I like to double down. I’m already a pretty big Byredo fan because of their ability to encapsulate cozy, woody, and brooding scents that I love so much. Super Cedar is a sophisticated take on a cedarwood scent with hints of rose, vetiver, and musk, which blend together to give off a woody and warm fragrance. It’s beautiful on its own, but lately, I’ve been layering it with De Los Santos, which has been in my rotation for over a year. The two together win me tons of compliments and give me a smoky, woody scent that's all my own.

The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa Sweet Oil & Honey Endless Moisture Smoothing Butter

The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa Sweet Oil & Honey Endless Moisture Smoothing Butter ($14)

I’ve recently incorporated The Mane Choice’s Choice Tropical Moringa Sweet Oil & Honey Endless Moisture Smoothing Butter into my wash day routine, and it’s been a game changer. Usually when a curly hair product boasts “smoothing” abilities, my eyes glaze over, but after adding this product to wet hair, I noticed a clear difference. I didn’t even realize that my 3c/4a curls' general frizziness was something that I could change, but this butter really smooths my curls for maximum definition.

Emi Jay Mini Boar Bristle Hair Brush

Emi Jay Mini Boar Bristle Hair Brush in Leche ($42)

Having a pretty hairbrush on my vanity makes me feel 100 times better, and the Emi Jay Mini Boar Bristle Brush is just as functional as it is pretty: It slicks down my gelled hair in literally one pass. I haven’t used a brush like this in years, and the quality and ease of Emi Jay’s brush makes me wonder how I’ve been slicking back my hair without it. Although I'm usually skeptical of products and tools that claim to be for all hair types, I found that my 3c/4a hair was no problem for this brush, and I believe it would work well for other hair types, too. Basically, if you’re into a slicked-back bun, you need this.

Companion Candles Warm Heart, Warm Hearth

Companion Candles Warm Heart, Warm Hearth ($25)

It's that time of year when I'm burning candles any chance I get. While I have a ton of candles that I love, not all of them are safe for my cat, which can be tricky. Companion Candles has solved this issue by creating a brand focused on making beautiful scents that are non-toxic to both people and pets. Recently I've been burning Warm Heart, Warm Hearth, an oak and tonka bean scent that's clean and refreshing with woody undertones that make it perfect for fall. If the fragrance wasn't enough to get me in a fall mood, it also comes with a crackling wood wick that really amplifies that cozy feeling.

Marrow x Sammi Enamel Sempre Ring

Marrow x Sammi Enamel Sempre Ring ($1950)

When one of my favorite and most aspirational creators does an epic collab with an esteemed jewelry brand, I'm paying attention. Sammi Jefcoate is known for her tightly cropped GRWM videos that truly make you feel like you're in the room with her, and one of the main steps in her routine is her ring placements. There have been so many times when I've watched her videos and thought about upping my jewelry game, so I was thrilled when she launched a collaboration with Marrow Fine. I couldn't believe I got my hands on the Enamel Sempre Ring, which is a timeless 14k gold and has so many special details that make it a total statement. It's a Claddagh design with edgy and cool accents, like the inscribed "life" and "death" on either side of it. This is a ring that I'll have in my collection forever, and it will always make me feel fancy and put-together.

Eos 24H Moisture Super Balm

Eos 24H Moisture Super Balm ($10)

Since my lips are prone to dryness, I keep a deeply moisturizing lip balm handy at all times—and right now, Eos’ 24H Moisture Super Balm is my go-to. It keeps my lips soft and conditioned thanks to three nourishing butters (cocoa, shea, and avocado). Another plus? It comes in so many delightful scents, like Mango Melonade and Watermelon Frosé.

OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil

OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil ($10)

I forgot how much I loved this hair oil from OGX, but I’m so glad it’s back in my haircare rotation. It’s formulated with cold-pressed Moroccan argan oil, which is beloved for its ability to soften and renew hair. I like to run a light amount of the oil through my hair (from roots to ends), and I’m always impressed with how smooth and soft it feels post-application. Not to mention, it makes my hair smell amazing, thanks to its citrus-floral scent.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Glow Serum

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Glow Serum ($34)

I take makeup prep seriously, so I always apply primer before my foundation, and the Yummy Skin Glow Serum from Danessa Myricks is my absolute favorite right now. This thoughtfully formulated primer makes makeup go on smoothly while also nourishing the skin. Its powerful blend of vitamin C, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid keeps my skin radiant, hydrated, and plump.

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Parfum ($130)

Among the many perfumes in my fragrance wardrobe, Libre definitely stands out. It's a beautifully bold floral fragrance with lavender, Moroccan orange blossom, and musk notes that come together perfectly. Every time I wear this, it elicits compliments and questions. Needless to say, it’s bound to become my signature fall fragrance.

Superdown Kai Varsity Jacket

Superdown Kai Varsity Jacket ($110)

I’m kind of in my sporty girl style era, so getting a varsity jacket was a must. I tend to wear black a ton, so I wanted to step out of the box and get this green one from Superdown (and I’m glad I did). It’s such a stunning, well-made piece and I’ve already worn it a lot this month. I’ve styled it casually, wearing it with sneakers and jeans, but I’ve also worn it with a dress. Either way, this jacket makes a major statement.

Nine West Allmy Loafers

Nine West Allmy Loafers ($89)

I never thought I’d be a loafer girly, but this pair from Nine West has converted me. The black croc-print design and gold detailing give these loafers such a cool, elevated look. I also love that they pair well with both casual and dressy looks. Whether I’m wearing jeans or slacks, these shoes help make any look feel a bit more polished.

SO Elastic Back Wide-Leg Trousers

SO Elastic Back Wide-Leg Trousers ($50)

Finding the perfect black pants for work has been a challenge, but these trousers from SO have officially put an end to my search. I absolutely love their relaxed fit and wide-leg design. These pants have such a casual yet stylish feel, which is what I want from my workwear.

Byredo Mangue de Tamil Nadu Flavored Lip Balm

Byredo Mangue de Tamil Nadu Flavored Lip Balm ($50)

I’m a huge fan of Byredo (as in I buy myself a new scent from the brand every year for my birthday), so I was super excited to try the famed makeup line. The Mangue de Tamil Nadu lip balm is such a light, moisturizing salve (perfect for those upcoming cold days), and it doesn’t hurt that the packaging is super luxe.

Phlur Vanilla Skin Body Mist

Phlur Vanilla Skin Body Mist ($35)

If you ask me, Phlur is dominating when it comes to unique, conversation-worthy scents. By that I mean the last time I wore the brand's Vanilla Skin body spray, I ended up having a full-blown conversation with my Uber driver about the joy of perfume. The new line of body fragrances offers a sophisticated approach to full body and hair mists and is ideal for layering, which I will do as soon as I find a refill of Father Figure, another absolute favorite of mine.

Rudsak Mave M Matte Down Puffer

Rudsak Mave M Matte Down Puffer ($845)

Rudsack has such a classic, cool, and sporty POV on outerwear, and I’m obsessed. This orange coat runs from XXS-XXL and is going to be my go-to when I want to add a pop of color to cold, gloomy days. With rumors going around that this is set to be a brutal winter in the east coast, I feel more than prepared with this ultra-cozy down puffer.

Ouai x Dedcool Melrose Place Dedtergent

Ouai x Dedcool Melrose Place Dedtergent ($35)

Ouai x DedCool recently dropped their fragrance-infused collaboration, and let’s just say I’ve done laundry several times already just to give my clothes a dose of the fresh, rosy scent of Ouai's Melrose Place. Doing laundry is normally the bane of my existence, so I know the brands are onto something here. Have I just been missing fragrance-infused detergent and dryer sheets in my life? It looks like this may be the case.

Hally Fluffy G Foaming Hair Gloss

Hally Fluffy G Foaming Hair Gloss ($15)

Colder temps have a special way of making my hair feel in need of some TLC, but with all of the seasonal spending coming up, it's hard to justify a splurge-y salon visit. Enter Hally's Fluffy G Foaming Hair Gloss: This in-shower treatment is the easiest, cleanest, and most budget-friendly way to give your strands a little pick-me-up.

Toccin Vienna Applique Pullover

Toccin Vienna Applique Pullover ($295)

My fall wardrobe is basically a rotation of go-to denim and cozy-chic sweaters. While you truly can't go wrong with a solid knit and classic cashmere, all it takes is one subtle detail to bring any outfit to the next level. This soft mohair oversized crewneck from Toccin has applique embroidery that adds a touch of interest and can be worn on repeat all season.
