There's no question we editors come across a lot of new products daily, always keeping our fingers on the pulse of the latest fashion and beauty arrivals from our favorite brands and retailers. It's for this reason that each one of us seems to have a continuous shopping wish list on our phone or computer (mine comes in the form of never-ending tabs open on my computer) so we can be the first to scoop up those sartorial gems when we come across something we love.
Curious to see what's on everyone's wish list for spring, I asked my fellow editors to share what exactly they would buy if they had $100 to spend for the new season. From bright and bold lipsticks to get us in the mood for spring to chic new sandals to embrace the warmer weather ahead, scroll below as our Who What Wear editors reveal what they'd buy (or have already bought!) with $100 this spring.
Who What Wear Zander Sandal ($85)
"I have these sandals in two colors (hey, it helps to work for the brand) and they're my favorite from the entire line. The square toe feels particularly on-trend and the lemon color is a weirdly wearable hue."
Urban Coco Crew Neck Cropped Cardigan Knitted Sweater ($18)
"Cardigans resurfaced last year as a trend, and now I'm convinced they're here to stay. This basic black one is guaranteed to be put on heavy rotation."
Topshop White Tie Tank ($50)
"Confession: I already did buy this tie tank and it's as lovely as it looks online."
Reformation Rochelle Top ($38)
"If you're sensing a theme here, your intuition is correct. But really—can anything prepare you for spring more than an arsenal of perfect white tanks?"
Hermes Rouge Hermes Satin Lipstick in Rose Mexique ($67)
"This might be one of the biggest beauty launches of 2020, and most certainly, this spring. Yes, $67 is a huge investment for a lipstick, but as Hermès' first and very anticipated step into makeup, this is a splurge that's so worth it. Not to sound cliché, but this is going to be the It product of the season. The lacquered and brushed metal bullet is stunning, glamorous, and complete with a magnet closure, and the lipstick itself is engraved with the Hermés name. You can choose from a matte or a satin finish, but personally, I've been into the satin!"
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation ($46)
"I can't stop talking about how magical Ilia's newest launch is—a smart hybrid between an SPF, foundation, and serum. The colors melt perfectly into your skin tone (both Courtney and I concur!), it offers really pretty, velvety-smooth coverage, and it blurs away the look of pores, pigmentation, even acne spots. I've been wearing it for a month now and am still not over it."
ASOS Trench Coat With Check Splicing ($101)
"I won't spend any more money on clothes this season until I add a cool trench coat to my closet (it's in desperate need of one). Given that this non-basic style just went on sale for $101 and that I've put it in tons of stories already this spring, I think it's a sign that I should probably just order it already."
Mango Linen Blend Vest ($60)
Call it a waistcoat, call it a vest—I'm really into the dapper trend we saw all over the spring 2020 runways. I'll be wearing it this spring with everything from relaxed suits—as part of a 3-piece suit, over chic blouses with jeans, and with pretty spring dresses (as pictured here). I love this dusty-pink color, but I also have the beige version sitting in my cart too.
Patchology FlashPatch Rejuvenating 5-Minute Eye Gels ($15)
As a busy working mom, I've been trying to instill a little self-care into my daily routine—especially in the skincare department. I tried these rejuvenating 5-minute eye patches about a month ago, and they're now always in my cart. They de-puff, hydrate, and brighten the undereye area (and I can wear them while I'm watching Netflix, or while I'm juggling activities in the house). Either way, I always feel a little more alive after using them.
H&M Patterned Dress ($20)
Nothing says spring quite like a pretty floral dress. I love everything about this easy H&M frock—from the puff sleeves to the striking floral print, the chic square neckline, and the flattering front slit. It's also so easy to dress up or down. Not too shabby for $20.
Who What Wear Kennedy Strappy Pump ($99)
"Believe it or not, I don't own great pumps, and I have my eye on this strappy version from Who What Wear Collection. Hello, perfect office shoes."
Topshop Tiered Asymmetrical Poplin Shirt ($75)
"This Topshop shirt is giving me some major Cecilie Bahnsen vibes with its fun tiers and billowy shape. I love that it's an inventive twist on the standard button-up, especially with the asymmetrical hem."
Commando Cotton Thong ($26)
"Since the Topshop shirt is $75, that leaves me with $25, which made me immediately think of quality underwear from Commando. Comfortable and no lines? You can't go wrong."
Levi's Ribcage Flare ($98)
"I've been searching for the perfect pair of flare jeans, and I think I found them in these Levi's. The light wash is perfect for spring and I love that they have a tiny bit of stretch for comfort."
Gladskin Eczema Cream With Micreobalance ($35)
"I, unfortunately, deal with eczema, especially during the colder months. As a result, I'm always on the hunt for innovative products to help soothe the irritated areas and help with the redness. Gladskin is where it's at and is a must for me during these transitional months."
Zella Miami Pocket Jogger Pants ($59)
"I basically only want to wear joggers this season as a forward alternative to jeans. I'd pair an oatmeal-hued pair with tube socks, old-school sneakers, and a fresh moto jacket."
