Edible Flower and Salted Caramel Rose Cake

Today’s cake of the day comes from Adventures in Cooking, a blog by Oregon-based photographer Eva Kosmas Flores. Flores fills her three-tiered rose and vanilla layer cake with salted caramel and frosts it with honey-vanilla buttercream. The candied rose petals on the exterior are optional, she says, but we certainly think they’re worth the effort.
