What Is Ed Sheeran’s Net Worth?

Per Celebrity Net Worth, Ed Sheeran’s net worth is estimated to be $200 million. The site speculates that when on tour, the Yorkshire, England, native can rake in anywhere from $70 million to $100 million. Though it can make up a sizable chunk of his earnings, Sheeran also makes money via collaborations, guest appearances and songwriting, most famously for the likes of Rhianna, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and now-defunct One Direction.

When asked about “Love Yourself,” the hit song he wrote for Bieber, he said, “People always [ask], ‘Why didn’t you keep it?’ And to be honest, he was on such a roll at that point that I think it wouldn’t have been as big if I’d sung it. He had his whole period of his life that was a bit...you know what I mean…and America loves a comeback story,” he told Jack Antonoff at the Audacity Beach Festival in 2021.

Over the years, he’s appeared on The Voice, Game of Thrones, Red Notice, Yesterday, and a ketchup commercial with Heinz for undisclosed fees. The GOT cameo was supposed to be a surprise for Maisie Williams, his friend, on her last season, but castmate Sophie Turner let it slip. Though he clearly has many talents, Sheeran maintains that live shows are where his true passion lies.

“I’m in the music industry to play live. That’s why I make records, that’s why I do radio interviews, that’s why I do Amazon events, that’s why I put things on Spotify. Having recorded music is fantastic, but playing live is where I buzz the most,” he said at a London event reported by The Guardian.

How Many Properties Does Ed Sheeran Own?

Currently, Sheeran, who is famously frugal, owns two properties in England. One is a house in Framlingham, Suffolk, that he purchased and renovated in 2011, and the other is a property in Notting Hill, London, which he bought in 2014.

All About Ed Sheeran’s New Album and 2023 Projects

The artist’s latest album, Subtract, is slated to release on May 5th, with a single, “Eyes Closed,” debuting on March 24. Two days before Subtract drops, a docuseries, Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All, debuts on Disney+.

“I’ve always been very guarded in my personal and private life; the only documentary I’ve ever made has been one that focused on my songwriting. Disney approached me to make a four-part documentary, and it felt like the right time to open the door and let people in. I hope people enjoy it,” he told Billboard.

He also casually dropped that he has five albums planned, including one to be released posthumously.

“I want to slowly make this album that is quote-unquote ‘perfect’ for the rest of my life, adding songs here and there,” he tells Rolling Stone. “And just have it in my will that after I die, it comes out.”

Though we hope, of course, that he lives a long and happy life, we’re totally curious and can’t wait to hear it.
