Ed Sheeran announces music hiatus after 'non-stop' two years
Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be taking another step back from his music career as he goes on a break to “take a breather”.
It comes two years after he released his record-breaking third studio album, Divide.
In a post to Instagram, the 28-year-old wrote: "Hello all. Gonna go on another break again.

"The Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it's all over it's time to go out and see some more of the world."
It isn't the first break the musician has had, as he took a year off back in 2016.
Sheeran went on: "I've been a bit non stop since 2017 so I'm just gonna take a breather to travel, write and read.
"I'll be off all social media until it's time to come back.
"To my family and friends, see ya when I see ya - and to my fans, thank you for always being amazing.
"I promise to be back with some new music when the time is right and I've lived a little more to actually have something to write about. Lots of love x."
Earlier this year, Sheeran wed his fiancee Cherry Seaborn in a top-secret ceremony.
It's been a big year for the Shape of You hitmaker in other ways too as he was named the richest UK celebrity under 30 in 2019.
He's estimated to be worth around £170million, putting him at the top of Heat magazine's rich list of UK celebrities aged 30 or under for 2019.
