If you're anything like us, you've spent a good chunk of the pandemic sitting at home scrolling endlessly through TikTok and attempting to create your own videos on the app. What if I told you all that hard work you put into those videos could potentially win you $5,000? Sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong. E.L.F. is making your TikTok dreams a reality. The brand has officially launched the first-ever TikTok reality show called Eyes.Lips.Famous.
Here's how it works. The drugstore brand launched the show to help three beauty enthusiasts on TikTok maximize their reach on the platform. The program helps micro-influencers hone their skills and land the ultimate opportunity to kickstart their career in the digital space: a $5,000 sponsorship to appear on E.L.F. Yeah (the brands TikTok page), plus they'll receive a year's worth of E.L.F. products for free.
Eyes. Lips. Famous. kicks off withTikTokers entering the contest by creating a video showing why they deserve to be "Eyes. Lips. Famous." There are three TikTok-famous judges, Avani Gregg, Madi Monroe, and Seth O'Brien, who will be looking for unique entries with contestants showing off their makeup skills, love for E.L.F. products, and passion for self-expression through beauty.
To enter the competition, just film your video and be sure to tag @elfyeah and #Eyes.Lips.Famous before August 20. Then, judges will then carefully select and notify winners by August 27 with a surprise duet video to congratulate them on landing the opportunity to be personally groomed on all things content creation and TikTok.
Once the winners are announced, they'll join beauty workshops hosted by the judges, which will be focused on honing the winners' skills through various challenges and hands-on coaching — all done virtually, of course.
The entire show will run through September and October, and all of TikTok will be able to follow the journey and take notes so they too can be Eyes. Lips. Famous.
