'DWTS' pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are engaged

That’s amore! Val Chmerkovskiy popped the question to Jenna Johnson on their trip to Italy — and she said “yes.”

The Dancing With the Stars pros revealed the happy news on Instagram on Thursday.

Johnson shared the same photo on her page, writing, “I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever. Babychka Мой любовь thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCÉ!!!!” Of course, she added the hashtag “#engaged.”

Chmerkovskiy hinted in May that an engagement might be around the corner.

Chmerkovskiy, 32, and Johnson, 24, began dating in 2015 but split the following year. They reconciled in 2017 after his five-month romance with Amber Rose. (Rose danced with Val’s brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, on Dancing With the Stars, in 2016.)

“You know, I’m in a great place and I’m in love, and I’m very grateful for that,” he told the Insider last summer.

In May, Johnson joked that “time’s a-ticking” for Chmerkovskiy to get down on one knee. “We’ll see [if engagement is in the cards anytime soon],” she laughed to Entertainment Tonight. “We both have very big things happening right now, so we’ll let that ride over…”

Guess the time was right!
