Dunkin’s Valentine’s Day Menu Is Here, and the Ombré Pink Velvet Macchiato Is Back
It’s that time of year when you should be switching your morning coffee order to something much more festive for Valentine’s Day. Dunkin’ is getting a head start by releasing its swoonworthy 2021 menu on Jan. 27. Bring on the pink drinks!
Dunkin’ first released the Pink Velvet Macchiato last year and, as expected, people were all about the ombré color that appears with the iced option. Plus, the limited-edition beverage tastes like a red velvet cupcake. Not only is it officially back in participating locations, but there is another drink and two donuts to try as well.
The Mocha Macchiato is a play on the classic chocolates that you have on Valentine’s Day. And you’ll probably recognize the Brownie Batter Donut and Cupid’s Choice Donut that graced the menu last year. Can you believe it’s already time to treat yourself with these again?
Pink Velvet Macchiato: Dunkin’s espresso with red velvet cake flavor and hints of smooth cream cheese icing
Mocha Macchiato: Dunkin’s espresso combined with deep chocolate flavors
Brownie Batter Donut: Heart-shaped donut that’s filled with rich, chocolatey brownie batter-flavored buttercreme filling and topped with vanilla-flavored icing and chocolate sprinkles
Cupid’s Choice Donut: Heart-shaped donut filled with Bavarian Kreme and topped with strawberry-flavored icing and pink sprinkles
Dunkin’ is really bringing the romance in 2021, and we’re not talking about the donuts. The coffee chain will debut its first-ever online wedding-themed pop-up shop and marriage is literally on the menu Valentine’s Day weekend. The Marriage is on the Menu contest will give fans in New York a chance to win a safe, fun, drive-thru wedding at Dunkin, complete with festive décor and picture moments.
Plus, each couple will receive presents, including a gift basket of Dunkin’ wedding gear and accessories, professional photos from the big day, and $500 cash. Nothing is conventional in 2020 and 2021, so why not have an unconventional (but incredible!) wedding? You can find how to enter the contest here.
“Dunkin’ is the perfect place for anyone to find the spirit of Valentine’s Day. With our gorgeous Pink Velvet and Mocha Macchiatos, joined together with our beloved heart-shaped donuts, we’re making it easy to treat yourself and bring a little love and sweetness to any way you choose to celebrate,” Jill Nelson, vice president, marketing and culinary at Dunkin’, said in a press release.
If you’re not down to tie the knot at Dunkin’, you can still get in on the marriage fun. There will be wedding merchandise available online beginning on Feb. 11. The specific merch hasn’t been revealed just yet, but we can only imagine what’s being cooked up.
