Dunkin’ Is Now Serving Coconut Milk With 3 New Fruity Refresher Drinks
As more people are reaching for non-dairy “milk” options, Dunkin’ is accommodating that need by introducing coconut milk to its menu. Not only do you have a new option at the mega coffee chain, you also get to order three new drinks featuring the coconut milk.
The idea behind the new Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers came from building on the Dunkin’ Refreshers lineup. The tropical flavors have been combined with coconut milk to create creamy concoctions in three varieties. Good luck choosing between the Pink Strawberry, Golden Peach, and Purple Pomegranate, because they all sound like winning flavors to us — plus, they’re all pretty pastel colors for summer.
Pink Strawberry: Strawberry dragonfruit flavors combined with coconut milk
Golden Peach: Peach passion fruit flavors combined with coconut milk
Purple Pomegranate: Blueberry pomegranate flavors combined with coconut milk
You’ll be able to order the Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers beginning on April 28. To make the new menu items even sweeter, you can snag a medium-sized one (in any of the three flavors) for $3 through May 25.
“The start of the summer season is the perfect time to expand our menu with coconut milk, another exciting non-dairy choice for our guests. From our colorful Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers to our creamy Coconutmilk Iced Latte, Dunkin’ is crafting the coolest coconutmilk beverages to keep our guests refreshed and running, throughout summer and all year-long,” Jill Nelson, vice president, marketing & culinary at Dunkin’, said in a press release.
If you’re unsure about this whole coconut milk thing, you can expect a creamy liquid that has hints of coconut taste, so it adds a tropical feel to any beverage. You can also try it in the new Coconut Iced Latte, which blends roasted espresso notes and the nutty coconut milk. Summer sipping is looking pretty good!
