Dunkin’ Donuts’ special heart-shaped treat arrives just in time for the royal wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials are going to be sweet! Dunkin’ Donuts is releasing a limited-edition heart-shaped goodie so we can all be part of the royal wedding. The “Royal Love” doughnut is filled with jelly and topped with chocolate icing and strawberry drizzle — yummy! In April 2011, the doughnut giant also unveiled its “Royal Wedding” pastry in honor of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day. The doughnut was heart-shaped, because love rules, and filled with jelly. The only difference was the “Royal Wedding” dessert had white frosting to represent Middleton’s wedding gown — too cute! The special doughnut honoring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will only be available from May 14 to May 20, so mark your calendars — and allow yourself a cheat day! The sweet treats will make the perfect snack for your early morning viewing party. You can use one hand to do the royal wave, and the other to chow down.
