Dunkin’ Has Bacon Avocado Toast Now So Breakfast Just Got A Bit Better
Update, May 10, 2021: Though it was casually mentioned about two weeks ago that Dunkin' had plans to release an update to its ever-so-popular Avocado Toast, as the new Bacon Avocado Toast is hitting shops nationwide, I thought it would be generous to send you a small reminder that this is totally happening. How kind of me, right?
To refresh your memory, the hot new menu item consists of a four-ingredient (JUST FOUR, Y'ALL!) avocado spread that includes avocado, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice that's presented on toasted sourdough bread. Topped with crispy cherrywood-smoked crumbled bacon (which made its way into the Dunkin' family in 2020) and—surprise!—Everything Bagel seasoning, this is one meal you'll want to spend your coin on.
So, go on, y'all! Add a stop at Dunkin' on your schedule today to get that delicious toast. I know I will be!
Original post, April 29, 2021: Dunkin' seems to be celebrating the warmer weather by debuting a bunch of new menu items for customers to enjoy all summer long. Right off the heels of coconut milk making its way to Dunkin' locations nationwide, the chain is now selling Sunrise Batch Hot Coffee, Avocado Toast with Bacon, and a Butter Pecan Sundae Signature Latte.
The Butter Pecan Sundae Signature Latte was brainstormed by Dunkin's team after hearing fan requests for the flavor. Butter Pecan was available in the past, but it's returning with an all-new twist in the form of this ice cream-inspired drink. Featuring Dunkin's premium espresso, the drink also boasts a rich Butter Pecan flavor that is topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and rainbow sprinkles. Guests can also add Butter Pecan to any of Dunkin's hot and iced coffee drinks for added sweetness.
Along with the latte, Dunkin' is introducing Sunrise Batch Hot Coffee which is a new limited-batch series by the brand. The medium roast has notes of cocoa, tangy tastes, and subtle hints of toasted nuts. This roast will only be available for a limited time but the limited batch series will continue to launch new items at Dunkin' throughout the year.
For those who go to Dunkin' for a caffeinated beverage and a snack, they're adding another Avocado Toast menu item. Two months after offering Avocado Toast, they're topping it with bacon for an even heartier meal. It includes avocado spread made with avocado, salt, pepper, and lemon juice on top of an authentic piece of sourdough bread with smoked bacon crumbles and everything bagel seasoning to top it all off.
