Duchess Kate Middleton steps out for Grenfell Tower Fire Memorial

It was a somber day for London as the city held a memorial to honor the victims of the Grenfell Tower Fire and a national day of mourning. It marked the six month anniversary of the tragedy.

In attendance at the St. Paul's Cathedral service was the royal family, including the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles, all of whom paid their respects to the 71 victims and their families. Singer Adele, who has regularly spoken out in support of the victims and has contributed to numerous benefits for the cause, was also in attendance.

For the service, Duchess Kate donned a simple yet elegant navy coat by high-end designer Carolina Herrera, which featured silver buttons. The Duchess paired the coat with a wide-brim navy hat, touched with a navy ribbon, as well as navy gloves with bows. To go with her Jimmy Choo suede heels, she opted for a pair of navy tights as to be respectful of church attire.

The mother of two, who is expecting her third child in April, held her clutch in front of her growing baby bump, which was only slightly visible in her dark coat.

Earlier this week, Kate volunteered at Rugby Portobello Trust to commend the hard work of the rescuers and to hand out donations to families impacted by June's fire.

"It's amazing for all of you to have this support, particularly at such a difficult, such a tragic time," she said on Tuesday.
