Dua Lipa Looks Like a Modern-Day Mermaid in a Sequined Swimsuit with Flames

Dua Lipa's tropical getaway style just got scaled up a notch.
Today, the "Sweetest Pie" singer debuted a truly daring, and very her, swimwear look: a fiery, sequined one-piece, which she wore to swim in a luxurious pool surrounded by tall trees.
The strapless suit is bright blue at the top, and features red, orange, and yellow flames coming up from the bottom. Lipa accessorized simply with large silver hoop earrings as she posed like a glittering mermaid inside the water.
"Never leaving la isla bonita," captioned an Instagram post with photos of her in the look.
Lipa has been on a late-summer holiday around Europe, regularly sharing photo dumps on Instagram of her eccentric day and night looks. Over the weekend, she showed up to Simon Porte Jacquemus and Marco Maestri's intimate wedding in Charleval, a charming village in the South of France, wearing a sheer white dress by the designer.
And last week, while celebrating her 27th birthday, the pop star strutted out in one vintage look after the other—as well as some sexy contemporary pieces.
To relax by the pool one day, she opted for jean-print bikini and vintage Dior boots and matching blue sarong. And to party with friends, she took a skintight leather dress with hot pink and violet flame details by Mugler from her fashion vault, and paired it with Balenciaga's Cagole knee-high stiletto boots.
She also debuted a striking look fresh off the Mugler's spring 2022 runway: a black mesh top and asymmetrical skirt with a dramatic waist cutout. She accessorized with chunky silver ear cuffs by Balenciaga.
