Dua Lipa Keeps the Party Going in a Croc-Embossed Little Black Dress

The 2023 Met Gala may officially be over, but Dua Lipa's fashion streak isn't.

A day after fashion's biggest night, the Grammy winner was seen out and about in New York City, where she continued to show off her edgy off-duty style.

She wore a black monochromatic outfit by Versace for the outing, comprised of a glossy croc-embossed little black dress, a matching oversized leather jacket, and shiny black pumps adorned with a black bow on the toe. She capped the jaw-dropping look off with sheer black tights, black Chanel square sunglasses, gold chain jewelry from Tiffany & Co., and a black leather shoulder bag by Bottega Veneta.

On Monday night, Lipa served as one of the gala's co-chairs, alongside Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel, and Roger Federer.

The "Don't Start Now" singer arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's carpeted steps in a 1992 white tweed ball gown by Chanel with a flattering basque waist, woven black trim, and a fringe hem. The dress was originally worn on the runway by supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

To accessorize, Lipa wore diamonds from Tiffany & Co., becoming the first person to ever wear the legendary Lucida Star Necklace (which is reportedly worth more than $10 million) reset with a diamond that mirrors the proportions of the world renowned Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest yellow diamonds in the world. The piece alone features over 100 carats of brilliant-cut white diamonds.

"I've always loved dressing up," Lipa previously told BAZAAR.com. "I like it when things look like you've just thrown them on and sometimes the things you really do just throw on look the best. I've always been inspired by the '90s."
