When you have a washer and dryer at home-especially if you're lucky enough to have an entire laundry room-getting your laundry done is a fairly simple (albeit tedious) task. You have everything you need, like detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, stain removers, and more on-hand, and you don't have to lug all of your laundry out of the house to get it done. But when you, like me, live in an apartment where you have to go down the street to a laundromat to wash your clothes, things get a whole lot trickier. Trying to carry all of your laundry is hard enough without having to bring all of your clothes-cleaning supplies with you, too. And no matter what your laundry situation is, the expenses of all of those supplies definitely adds up.

Dreambly, a new brand in the laundry sphere is here to change that in the hopes of making laundry day easier for everyone. The brand makes all-in-one laundry sheets that replace your detergent, whitener, brightener, stain remover, fabric softener, and anti-static dryer sheets. Dreambly sheets look like (and come in a similar package to) a moist towelette of sorts, except they're for your laundry-and with the added green bonus of being 100 percent biodegradable and scented with essential oils, too.

If you're thinking these sound too good to be true, I was right there with you until I tried them. I didn't think it was possible for one little sheet to somehow remove stains, brighten and clean my clothes, and keep them soft and free of static cling, but they really do work. To use them as a stain remover, you just rub the sheet on the stain. Then, when you go to wash your clothes, toss the sheet in with the laundry. Keep the sheet in as you transfer to the dryer, and enjoy your clean, static-free clothes. The essential oils give the laundry sheets a light, lemony sage scent that is clean and bright but not overpowering (and more importantly, did not irritate my skin like a lot of scented detergents often do.) It's also worth noting that you may need to use more than one depending on the size of the load of laundry you're doing, but you can follow the directions on the package for that. The only thing these sheets can't do is fold your laundry for you.

The best thing about these laundry sheets-now that I know they really work-is that not only do I not have to carry a bunch of different cleaning accoutrements with me to the laundromat, I also don't need to find a place to store them all in my tiny studio apartment. A win-win, really.

Still not sold? If you'd like to try out Dreambly's laundry sheets yourself, you don't have to commit to a full-on 40-pack right away. You can order a sample pack of 5 individual sheets for $4.99 to test them out yourself-and if you end up loving them, you can order in bulk to save money in sets of two, four, or six.
