With CES 2020 (Consumer Electronics Show) coming to a close in Las Vegas, the best and brightest in tech have announced and unveiled what’s to come throughout the year. While most gadgets and gizmos have yet to be released to the general public, one newfangled piece of tech caught our eye — and our tastebuds.
The Drinkworks Home Bar by Keurig is an easy-to-use and speedy machine that makes single-serve cocktails — think Moscow mules, cosmopolitans, vodka soda limes, mai tais, peach sangrias, Long Island iced teas and more on-demand with just a push of a button. It’s available for purchase for $300 at Amazon.
It’s just as easy as making your morning coffee! Here’s how it works: Simply add your favorite cocktail pod, water and CO2 cartridges into the machine and press the “start” button. That’s it! The Drinkworks Home Bar will then mix all the ingredients in the pod with the perfect amount of water and carbonation, which dispenses into a glass below.
There’s no need to shake or stir because all drinks are served at the best temperature with a fresh and balanced taste each and every time. You can mix and match pods and get to try new drinks without committing to entire bottles of fancy liquours, or attempting to play bartender with a litany of shakers, jiggers and muddlers. Everything you need to make a good stiff drink is in a pod, even the alcohol.
The Drinkworks Home Bar also makes various brews, wines, ciders and much more.
Here’s what Amazon reviewers had to say about the home bar:
“Ordered the machine as we love our Keurig. To my surprise the drinks were great,” wrote a delighted reviewer. “So easy to use and very quick with no cleanup and mess on the bar...I have to say I was worried about the drinks being weak but they definitely are not!”
Another five-star reviewer added, “Machine makes cocktail hour easy, with a different drink for everyone and no need to buy all those varieties of mixers.”
Word to the wise: If you pick up the Drinkworks bar, your house just might become the de facto party spot among your friend group. You’ve been warned!
