Drew Barrymore's Alleged Stalker Turns Unwanted Attention to Emma Watson
Drew Barrymore's alleged stalker, Chad Michael Busto, has moved on to another famous victim.
TMZ reports that Busto was caught by police after he broke into a dressing room at New York Fashion Week, demanding to see Emma Watson.
In court documents obtained by the publication, it's noted that Busto screamed at models and makeup artists prepping for a show at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, repeatedly saying, "I want to marry Emma Watson. Let me speak to Emma Watson. Let me take a photo with Emma Watson." It wasn't confirmed whether the 33-year-old Harry Potter star was even attending the event.
Busto has since been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of trespassing.
Last month, Busto targeted Barrymore during the actress' chat with actress and singer Renée Rapp at New York City's 92nd Street Y. In footage filmed by a fan, Busto screamed Barrymore's name before approaching the stage, saying, "My name is Chad Michael Busto, you know who I am. I need to see you at some point while I'm here in New York."
Barrymore, 48, was ushered off the stage by the Sex Lives of College Girls star as security took Busto away. He was not arrested at that time.
Days after that incident, Busto showed up at Barrymore's Hamptons home but was taken into custody by police. Southampton Town Justice Court Clerk Heather Drapal told TMZ that a judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest after he failed to comply with getting a GPS monitor.
