Drew Barrymore Had A Teary-Eyed Reunion With Her Ex, Justin Long, And They Reflected On The "Chaos" Of Their Relationship

At this point, Drew Barrymore is our patron saint of feelings.

Like, remember her reaction to finding a hidden window in her apartment?

Or how she felt after spending some time in the rain?

Well, on the season premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew reunited with her ex, Justin Long — and it was tears time, for certain.

Some context: Drew and Justin dated from 2007 to 2008 and again from 2009 to 2010. They also costarred in the movie Going the Distance in 2009.

When Justin walked out on set, Drew revealed that they hadn't physically seen each other since breaking up, so they were basically reuniting on TV right there.

"I love that we've maintained our love," Justin told Drew as they started talking about their past, saying to her at one point, "I'll love you always." At that point, Drew started crying.

Then, the two embraced again as Drew said to Justin, "I will always love you so much."

Through tears, Drew continued to reminisce on her relationship with Justin. "I feel like we've been through so much together too," she said.

"I feel like when we used to, like, talk and FaceTime, I was always like, 'You know, I've really grown up, Justin.' I always wanted to prove what a different person I was than when we dated."

"You were the best," Justin said to Drew, to which she replied, "We had so much fun, but we were more hedonistic, more immature."

"We would get together, we would break up. There was chaos. It was hella fun."

"Fun chaos," Justin replied, before saying, "Well, yeah, most hedonism is fun."

All in all, it was very sweet, as well as the sort of thing that would only happen on The Drew Barrymore Show — and we love her for it.
