Drew Barrymore kicked off her new TikTok page with a bang and with a little help from Josie “Grossie” Geller.

On August 29, The Drew Barrymore Show host joined the TikTok world with a Q&A-style video featuring her beloved character Josie from the 1999 rom-com Never Been Kissed. The 46-year-old actress wore her signature pink ruffle dress, side ponytail and braces to address comments in a “Questions I Get Asked” clip.

Drew — ahem, Josie, — answered three questions referencing the hit movie including, "Do you wear your prom dress every day?" to which she replied, "No silly! Only on special occasions.” There was also a question that was a nod to that unfortunate but memorable egg scene from the film. Lastly, she answered the all too commonly asked question, "Are you Drew Barrymore?" Watch the full video below to see her hilarious responses.

After seeing Drew bring Josie back to life, fans shared their total excitement. “What in the 1999 is going on,” one person wrote. “I’m confused and I love it,” another added. “How does Josie [Grossie] not age even the slightest bit though?! 👏❤️ This is the best entrance to TikTok I’ve seen thus far!” a different fan said. “Drew Barrymore has entered the chat 🙏,” a follower commented.

This isn’t the first time Josie has made an appearance. In November 2020, Drew channeled the aspiring journalist on her daytime talk show to deliver the latest headlines together. Playing along with the heartwarming TV moment, the show’s official TikTok account also commented on Drew's first TikTok, “Our favorite girl! Hope you stop by the show this season!!!”

Speaking with The New York Times in January, Drew shared that her aim has always been to make those at home laugh during her one-hour program. “I wanted to do the show like a variety comedy,” she told the outlet. “I gravitate toward a Julia Child or a Lucille Ball rather than trying to do it perfect. Everything’s going to fall on the floor and be kind of ridiculous.”

We have a feeling that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Josie!
