This dress is the most complained-about moment on British TV in 2017
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden didn’t used to be the one receiving the judgment, but that’s all changed. A report from British paper The Sun says that the revealing dress Holden wore on the family show back in June has continued to rack up complaints, with viewers sharing their aversion via the British U.K. communication regulator Ofcom.
The dress, designed by Julien Macdonald, has received more than 663 complaints via the watchdog, according to The Sun. That amount is double what comedian Russell Brand incurred for swearing and making “sexual” references during a Comic Relief sketch earlier in the year.
Viewers were shocked when the judge took to the stage on BGT wearing a V-neck that plunged nearly all the way to her belly button.
Viewers took to Twitter to express their displeasure with the dress, many of them saying it was an inappropriate outfit for a family show that airs at 7:30 in the evening.
