As more and more brands start releasing reusable face mask styles all their own, our options for looking for stylish and safe are only getting better. That said, the newest drop from Reese Witherspoon’s clothing company Draper James might just be our favorite yet, and we’re apparently not the only ones with that opinion—all five face mask designs sold out in less than 24 hours. (Fingers cross there’s a restock soon.)
The reusable non-medical-grade styles are made from lightweight cotton which can easily be tossed in the wash and worn on repeat. There’s also an interior pocket where you can slip in a PM2.5 filter (the masks also come with one filter included). An adjustable wire at the nose contours to fit your face just right, while elastic ear loops make it easy to pop these cuties on and off without needling to pull anything over your head. And while we’re definitely glad to hear about all these technical aspects, the thing we’re most excited about getting to mix and match these five stylish masks with the rest of Draper James’ fabulous summer staples.
The classic chambray will, of course, go with just about anything in your wardrobe, but we love the fact that the pink ditsy floral exactly matches four different dress styles from Draper James so you can put together a fully coordinated ensemble. Right now there don’t appear to be any clothing styles made from the three other patterns—chambray floral, clover vines and magnolia vines—but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some late summer releases, perhaps to coincide with a restock of the chic masks.
Witherspoon has been vocal on Instagram about the importance of wearing a mask while out in public, posting photos of herself with the hashtag wear a damn mask, as well as a hilarious Legally Blonde meme touting just how simple a task it is. This Draper James collection is just one more way Witherspoon can spread the message and support the need to stay safe and healthy, all while remaining the southern style icon we know and love her to be.
