Drake's is opening a fourth Louisville-area location.

Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore announced this week that the Lexington-based restaurant chain will open a new restaurant in the Jeffersonville Town Center by the end of the year.

The plaza is filled with concepts like Hobby Lobby, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Chicken Salad Chick and HomeGoods. The new Drake's will be adjacent to Tire Discounters.

“Jeffersonville Town Center has become a great destination to shop and grab a bite to eat and we are thrilled with this new list of businesses that will bring even more people to the area,” Moore said in a release. “The secret’s out. Jeffersonville is where new businesses want to locate and we can’t thank the developers enough for their shared vision.”

Other restaurants opening in the center include Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe, 1580 Veterans Parkway, expected to open in late spring 2022, and Green District Salads, 4227 Town Center Blvd., expected to open early spring 2022.

Drake's opened its first Louisville location in 2011 at 3939 Shelbyville Road in St. Matthews a second at 3921 Summit Plaza Drive in the Paddock Shops, and a third at 2651 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy in August. The restaurant serves smashed burgers, steaks and combos, sandwiches, sushi, salads, chili and more.
