Drake and Rihanna Are Now Flirting in Instagram Live Comment Sections

Rihanna and Drake are not quarantining together, but the two exes got publicly flirty despite the distance in the comments section of DJ Spade's Instagram Live. LaineyGossip noted that fans took screenshots of Rihanna and Drake's comments to each other. There were several, but one exchange got particularly sassy because Rihanna called Drake out for his thirst:

“DUB PLATE COME PRETTY LIKE A FENTY FOUNDATION,” Drake wrote from his champagnepapi Instagram account.

"Give drake some water," Rihanna retorted from her badgalriri account.

"Hahahahhahahaha yo u have a bad attitude @badgalriri," Drake playfully commented.

"Rihanna drop R12 right now," he trolled. (Fans have anxiously been awaiting R9, Rihanna's ninth album.)

Rihanna and Drake are both officially single. They were last seen hanging out together in January, shortly after news of her breakup with Saudi billionaire businessman Hassan Jameel came out.

This past October, Rihanna was seen at one of Drake's birthday parties for "several hours." It was a public sign that their friendship was back on, after RiRi spoke to Vogue in May 2018 about not being close to Drake. She told the outlet, “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

Of his 2016 MTV VMAs Vanguard introduction speech, which contained a public declaration of love for her that went viral, she added, “The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
