Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, got quite the surprise as she removed a scalp cyst in her latest Instagram video post. In her latest video, a male patient's cyst actually sprayed her in the face with a clear liquid.

"This will surely wake you up. I know it woke me up! ☀️ TAG someone to help them out this morning! #drpimplepopper #cyst," she captioned the video.

In the video, Dr. P is seen with gloved hands as she starts to squeeze a cyst that's ready for extraction on the patient's sliced open scalp. But as she starts, she is immediately sprayed by a sprinkler of fluid that comes out.

"Whewwww!" says Dr. P as the liquid spews out in all directions.

"I wasn't expecting it this time," says Dr. P's assistant.

"I wasn't expecting it either! And I didn't even push that hard," says Dr. P in the video. "Whewww that woke me up!"

After dotting away any excess liquid with some gauze, she keeps squeezing the cyst. And another flood of thicker yellow gunk starts to come out. From there, she uses more gauze to clear the cyst before she grabs a pair of pliers to grab the rest of the cyst.

"I'm just going to give you a little tug," she says to the patient as she removes the entire cyst from his scalp. (It's about the size of a gumball.)

"Are you okay?" she asks her patients as the cyst comes out.

"Oh man..." her assistant is heard saying.

And her followers are loving the drama.

"I love how even the camera person jumped," one fan commented.
