Dr. Pimple Popper Pops A 'Chicken Cutlet' Lipoma, And I Was Not Ready For It

Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper is at it again! This time, she treats a patient who flew in all the way from The Last Frontier.
The female patient had a mango-sized lipoma sitting atop her right deltoid—making her arm look misshapen.
It didn't take long for Dr. P to get the entirely of the lipoma out. And once she did, hilarity ensued in the comments section: “Reminded me of giving birth...head, shoulder, then pop."
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper is known for popping lumps and bumps of all sizes—but her latest just might take the cake. When I read Dr. P’s caption, which said her patient flew in all the way from Alaska to have the strange lump on her arm examined, I knew this was going to be good!
“She was such a sweetheart and was really excited about getting this large lump in her arm removed,” the doctor captioned the clip. "This woman was so excited to get this removed (and we can all understand why, it's pretty big and really distorts her right arm)."
Dr. P starts off in the usual way: a little numbing injection, a little scalpel work, and soon enough the massive lipoma is revealed. (ICYMI, a lipoma is a benign fatty growth that typically sits just underneath the skin.) While Dr. P is working, the woman—who had a pretty big bump on her shoulder—mentioned that her older sister had a small lipoma below her breasts.
Dr. P first wedges her right index finger underneath the growth to get it to budge from underneath. She then squeezes, pokes, and prods just a little bit before the mango-sized mass comes flying out of the patient—all in one go. The M.O.P (moment of pop) was indeed quite the shocker, complete with a loud "splat" sound.
“That was awesome,” said the doctor’s assistant. “Oh my god, that’s awesome.”
And I would have to agree. I am no pimple-popping newbie, but I’ll admit this one made me jump right out of my seat! And I’m definitely not alone: Fans watching the video were equally as shocked.
"Now that is what I call a masterpiece," wrote one commenter. “I was NOT expecting that to come out that quickly!” another person posted. While another fan was quick to point out the lipoma's resemblance to raw meat (and I agree): "Lady, you had a chicken cutlet in your arm 😱😱😱"
“I can’t even describe my feelings about that one!” one Popaholic said. “The noise I made when it came out was inhumane 😂.” An astute observer commented: “Reminded me of giving birth...head, shoulders, then pop.”
I have not given birth so I can’t agree with wholehearted certainty. But watching this video, I almost feel like I have.
