In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Instagram video, she helps a woman with a mystery bump on her eyelid.
Fans asked if it was a "chalazion" but the dermatologist calls it a whitehead.
Dr. Pimple Popper follows her go-to slice and squeeze strategy to drain a small pile of gunk out of the bump.
Today is Friday, folks! Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, knows how to celebrate this day. She practices her Friday celebrations every week. Tbh they keep getting better each time, and her latest Instagram video adds more proof.
The still shot on the video looks very different from her other clips. What fills the square is a woman's eye with her well-groomed eyebrow and some bright purple eyeliner as an accent. There are no visible pimples. I, for one, an perplexed. Is Dr. Pimple Popper venturing into makeup tutorials? What is going on here?
Dr. Pimple Popper captioned the pop: "It’s FRIYAY! 🥳 We’re saying goodbye to all the little things that may have annoyed us during the week... like this eyelid bump! ✌️#drpimplepopper #fridayvibes"
A quick click on the play button explains it all. There is a bump on the woman's eyelid, but it was hiding behind the text. Phew, there is a pimple for Dr. Pimple Popper to pop after all.

She gets right to business, too. The video jumps ahead to the squeezing step. Dr. Pimple Popper uses her fingers to press on and around the bump until all the contents emerge on the surface of the skin. "That was just a big ol' whitehead," she says after the procedure.
"Was this a chalazion?" Dr. Pimple Popper leaves the comment unanswered, but the American Academy of Ophthalmology has some info that can help. A chalazion is a swollen bump on the eyelid that occurs when the eyelid’s oil gland clogs up. There you have it, folks.
