  • In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Instagram video, she helps a patient with an inflamed scalp cyst.

  • The patient had a coworker pop it before coming into the office, making a minor problem much worse and "toxic."

  • Dr. Pimple Popper shows how the professional pop should be done and cleans it all out quickly.

Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, is usually all smiles and jokes when she's squeezing out even the gnarliest of pimples. That's not the case today with her latest patient. It all goes down in her new Instagram video with a stern warning for fans watching at home.

Dr. Pimple Popper reminds the eager Popaholics why the big pops must be left for the professionals. She explains in the caption, before showing the effects on screen: "Warning! Do NOT squeeze your cysts at home, I do not recommend this! 🙅🏻♀️ 😡 This patient provided the first half of the video where a coworker squeezed their cyst for them. The cyst then became inflamed! I was able to see the patient and completely remove his cyst and its sac. #drpimplepopper #pilarcyst"

Over the clip, Dr. Pimple Popper adds, "I do not endorse doing this." The footage is shaky as a set of gloved fingers comes into view and starts pressing on the lump. Liquid comes streaming out of an invisible opening in the cyst. To be fair, the amateur popper wore gloves for the oozing squeeze, but it didn't look like Dr. Pimple Popper's clean procedures. One fan wrote, "that woman looked like she was gloved up for toxic waste!"

They didn't finish the job, either. Dr. Pimple Popper comes in with her scalpel and anesthetic. She makes it look so easy. The derm grabs the cyst sac with tweezers and finally puts an end to the pesky cyst.
