In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Youtube and Instagram videos, she extracts all shapes and sizes of cysts on multiple patients.
When the derm squeezes one deceptively small back cyst, it squirts across the room.
Dr. Pimple Popper's fans nickname it the "pez dispenser" cyst, while she calls another gushing bump a "waterfall."
You might think that one record-breaking blackhead pop would be enough for one weekend. You would be sadly mistaken. For dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, one giant blackhead pop was just the beginning of the weekend popping extravaganza.
She followed it up with cysts of all shapes and sizes growing on multiple patients. And, Dr. Pimple Popper even found time to knock out a lipoma. It was an action-packed weekend, and you can catch up on it all right here RN.
Dr. Pimple Popper kicked it all off with a real bang. She started with the scintillating tale of a waterfall cyst. It's a more technical procedure, so she gives a detailed rundown in the caption: "This patient has an epidermoid cyst which has recently become inflamed and “infected”. I put “infected” in quotes, because technically this is not an infection: When an epidermoid cyst ruptures, it creates a vigorous foreign body inflammatory response - this skin becomes warm, tender, painful, and swells, simulating an abscess."
Her treatment: incision and drainage. There's a big emphasis on the drainage portion, too. That's where the whole waterfall reference comes into play.
Next is a more run-of-the-mill cyst, but it's no less satisfying. This one is on her patient's back. When she squeezes, the cyst contents go flying. It surprises everyone watching. One fan called it a "Pez dispenser." Another admitted: "Not gonna lie, I flinched when it happened."

It's such a stubborn bugger, that the patient comes to see Dr. Pimple Popper for a follow-up visit. This second go around seems to do the trick.
That's not the only cyst in need of the pro pimple popper's attention. She serves up a satisfying "cease and de-cyst" to a cluster of giant cysts.

After she's dispatched all of those, Dr. Pimple Popper can move onto other patients and pimples. Next is a lipoma. The derm explains it all in the caption: "Sometimes confused for chicken cutlets, but very different! 🍗Lipomas come in all shapes and sizes. Some grow faster than others and they are usually benign (non-cancerous)." Phew, now you can settle in and enjoy the show.
Last but not least are some soothing bedtime pops. "Counting pops before bed? I’ve got one for you! 😴"
