  • In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Instagram video, she helps a patient with a camouflaged cyst.

  • The cyst is under the surface of the skin and barely visible to the untrained eye.

  • Dr. Pimple Popper knows exactly what to do with it. She punches it with her punch biopsy tool and pulls the entire cyst out in one "squishy" blob.

Pixar films probably aren't top of mind when watching videos from the treatment room of dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper. Her latest Instagram video looks like something straight out of a cartoon and fans instantly connected it to Finding Nemo. Stay with me, I promise it will all make sense in a moment.

Dr. Pimple Popper's patient comes in with a very well camouflaged cyst. It's hiding under the skin and barely visible to the untrained eye. Popaholics see it and so does the derm. It's also a "squishy" cyst, which should give away the Finding Nemo connection.

Dr. Pimple Popper writes in the caption: "What is that? 👀 #drpimplepopper A punch, a squeeze, and a sac! We’re all in tonight! #popaholicsunite✌🏼❤️💥" She's all in on this gooey pop too.

The derm starts with a punch biopsy tool. She plunges straight through the skin and into the cyst. One fan shared a funny observation: "No lie, everytime I see this device I keep thinking: "Lady, that is not how you use a PS/2 port cable" imagining she's trying to plug in a keyboard or something 😂.."

Once she had a nice round opening, Dr. Pimple Popper used her tweezers and scissors to carefully separate the cyst from the surrounding skin. And voila, out popped the gooey little blob.

More fans got oh so chatty in the comments. One wrote, "I shall call him squishy, and he shall be mine. And he shall be my squishy." There is your Finding Nemo reference, folks.
