WandaVision is filled with some familiar faces and one character in particular is certainly stealing the show with her incredible moments. Longtime fans of Dr. Darcy Lewis would definitely remember her from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but between The Blip and the countless films that have been released since then, it's been a while since we've caught up with her. So what has Darcy been up to? And what is she doing in WandaVision?

Who is Darcy Lewis?
Darcy Lewis first appeared in Thor as a political science student who helped Dr. Erik Selvig and Dr. Jane Foster as they studied anomalies in New Mexico that they believed were connected to space. According to Jane, Darcy was the only applicant for the internship, so she was chosen for the job. Despite her background being in political science and not astrophysics, she was still able to help out the team significantly as they learned more about Thor and tried to bring him back to Asgard.
She later returned in Thor: The Dark World where she continues to work with Jane as they look into portals that have opened up in London. After Jane is taken to another dimension and later taken to Asgard, Darcy continues to try to look for Erik, who has been missing. They bail him out of a mental hospital and works with him to study the Convergence, which seems to be causing these mysterious portals to show up on Earth.
As Jane and Thor returned to Earth to stop the Convergence and the Dark Elves who are attacking the planet, Jane kisses her intern Ian Boothby, who saves her from an attack. Darcy returns to her studies after the event of Thor: The Dark World as Thor and Jane continue their relationship.
In WandaVision, it's discovered that Darcy has continued her studies and completed her doctorate. She is also considered a leader in astrophysics and is called by S.W.O.R.D. to help figure out mystery behind the missing town of Westview, NJ. After discovering broadcast waves at the S.W.O.R.D. base, she uncovers the WandaVision sitcom that is going on in Westview.
While she clashes with S.W.O.R.D. Acting Director Tyler Hayward, she works alongside S.W.O.R.D. Agent Monica Rambeau and FBI Agent Jimmy Woo to figure out more about what is happening behind Westview and how they can get the citizens back from under Wanda's hex.
Who plays Darcy?
Kat Dennings has played Darcy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Thor. She is also well known for starring as Max in 2 Broke Girls and Jules in Dollface. Kat has also appeared in The House Bunny, Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist, and Big Mouth.
