Winners and losers

Stocks in the red today include Cboe as the exchange operator was hit by two downgrades citing VIX trading risk, Sanofi as the drugmaker’s profit was lower in the 4th quarter, and its forecast missed the mark, and Chipotle – no bueno for Chipotle as the Mexican fast casual chain’s same store sales fell short of estimates, and it sees customer visits declining further this year.

Stocks in the green include Wynn Resorts as CEO and Founder Steve Wynn is stepping down following sexual misconduct allegations, Riot Blockchain as the as the blockchain tech name bought futures operator Logical Brokerage, and Snap – shares on fire for the Snapchat parent as profit, revenue, and daily active users all topped forecasts.
