Dove Cameron Revealed Her Brand-New Micro Bangs on Instagram and It's a Lewk

If you've been looking for your next hair obsession, consider it found — Dove Cameron debuted a brand-new hairstyle and it's an absolute serve. The Boyfriend singer showed off her new bangs in an Instagram selfie, which has us considering if we should make the chop.
Dove posted a series of mirror selfies to show off her oh-so-edgy micro-bangs, tying the rest of her dark hair back to highlight the blunt mini fringe that lined her brow bone and rested above her eyebrows instead of brushing across them the way traditional bangs would. The razor-sharp cut relies on stick-straight hair to emphasize the punchy, gothic look that Dove is dabbling in. "We can talk about it in the morning," she captioned the post.
"She bangs she bangs 🔥," commented Dove's hairstylist Jacob Rozenberg.
Despite being cozied-up in an oversized, plush black coat, Dove still brought full-intensity glamour with a smoky grey eye, a defined red lip, and an arched brow highlighted by her micro-bangs. It's a high-contrast beauty look thanks to her dark hair, which the singer recently revealed was a "total identity shift" and "a reclamation of deciding who I was versus who I felt I always had to be."
It seems like brunettes really do have more fun — Dove recently released a 1950s-themed music video for her song Breakfast where she dressed up as a suit-wearing, '50s executive for a gender-swapped take on the misogyny of decades past that is still present today. Dove told PEOPLE, "We're all trying to dismantle that together, and I find it so inspiring and so sexy."
