On August 25th, we will experience a double Sun trine with the Sun trine Uranus and Sun trine Saturn. This transit will bring about the payback of good karma in a very big and lasting way, which is great news for your zodiac sign and love horoscope.
In astrology, the Sun represents our sense of self, perhaps even the self that we don’t show to the rest of the world. So when it trines other planets, it means big changes for us.
The first trine is between the Sun in Virgo and Uranus in Taurus. Sun in Virgo is logical, thoughtful and full of energy to plan for the future, while Uranus in Taurus is about foundations and destroying anything that previously wasn’t working. Together, these energies are asking us to overhaul not just our lives but our mindset too.
While in many ways it’s likely that we will have seen the destruction of whatever Uranus wanted to rip apart in our lives, we may still have to pick up the pieces or even decide where to go from here. With the Sun involved though, it means that whatever is occurring may not be an external factor, but an inner one.
This destruction and rebirth that Uranus is trying to achieve may be over a mindset more than anything else, or perhaps even a block in our unconscious thinking that has led us to whatever current relationship dilemma we are facing.
The thing with the Sun and Uranus is that while things may need to change, something new is right on the way in. This means that if we have to let go of the idea of a relationship working out with a particular person, a new partner may be coming in. If we’re having to let go of our vision of never marrying or settling down but have found someone worth modifying our ideals for, we might see ourselves changing how we view commitment.
This aspect could also play into our worthiness as far as what we feel we should and want to accept. The Sun wants us to believe in ourselves, and in Virgo it’s full of confidence and the motivation needed to make plans to propel us from the past where our fears held us, to the future that is full of optimism.
Virgo and Taurus are excellent mates for this trine, as both earth signs and both concerned with planning and doing things right. Earth signs don’t cut corners and they don’t try to speed things along for time’s sake; they are slower than other signs and think things through so that when they finally make a move, it’s one that sticks permanently.
The Sun and Uranus also are showing us a time when most of the hard work is already behind us. While we may have to look at some plans or motivations regarding our future, overall this trine is about payback for everything we’ve worked on during the past.
If we have spent years trying to disentangle ourselves from our ego or how we thought our life should have gone, and instead have made progress towards becoming more authentic and making choices that align with who we truly are, even if we haven’t seen payback yet, with this trine it’s coming.
What we sow is also what we reap, which is karma’s definitive law. Yet this theory isn’t about punishing us, but rather balancing life out. If we put nothing in, we get nothing back. Likewise, if we put in all we’ve got, we also will be rewarded with more than we could have expected.
The second trine that we see is between the Sun in Virgo and Saturn in Capricorn. This aspect too heavily deals with payoff for earlier work, but in this case, it also relates to the boundaries we’ve put in place for ourselves and others so we could feel as if we could move forward.
At this point, more than half the year is over; however, it doesn’t mean that we’ve seen the best of what is to come.
Saturn in Capricorn, while about boundaries, is also about building. With so much energy focused on the work we have done, it’s no wonder we can’t even see how close we are to the reward for all of our efforts. This is an important aspect to not let close us down.
Sometimes just before the moment that we have a big breakthrough, we think all is lost. During this time it’s easy to think that we were wrong about a given relationship or scenario and to give up and walk away altogether.
However, it’s important to remember that life and karma work the long game. Nothing is really over or finished until it truly is, and in this case many situations have just been laying the groundwork to truly get started.
While there is so much good associated with the double Sun trine of Sun trine Uranus and Sun trine Saturn, we have to still put in the work and stay mindful of our actions. We can’t give up just because we’re in a moment that tests us, and we can’t think that we understand every nuisance based on what we can see. To truly put in the hard work that pays back good karma, we have to keep going when all seems lost and impossible.
This transit could jumpstart a lot of forward movement for us, especially in terms of the on-again/off-again relationships that have seen a tumultuous past. The thing to remember with love is that rarely is it a straight path from here to forever, and instead it’s detoured with the necessary lessons and experiences so we can ultimately appreciate what we have.
During this trine that is just sandwiched around the Pisces full moon and Mars turning direct, it’s important to believe in yourself, to trust your intuition, and to know that nothing is too good to be true, especially if you’ve put in the work to achieve it.
