When Ree Drummond lists off the things she loves most in this world, there's one item every country music fan can get behind: "Wynonna Judd's voice." Lucky for us, this year's CMT Awards will include a special performance by the one and only! Fair warning—you'll want to have a box of tissues when you tune in for Sunday's show.

The CMT Music Awards has an unbelievable roster of artists on the schedule singing all our favorite hit country songs during the ceremony—Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, and Shania Twain, to name a few. But the duet we're most excited about brings together the iconic Wynonna and Ashley McBryde. The pair have yet to announce their song for the special performance, which will air live on Sunday, April 2 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS (or you can stream it on demand on Paramount+), but their set will be featured as part of The Judds: Love Is Alive - The Final Concert event (airing this spring).

Wynonna's return to the award show's stage marks a year since her and Naomi Judd's final performance, which occurred just weeks before Naomi's tragic passing. Last year, Naomi and Wynonna delivered an unforgettable rendition of their 1990 hit "Love Can Build a Bridge" and nearly brought viewers to tears.

"The Judds: The Final Tour" was initially planned as the last tour for the mother-daughter duo but has since transformed into a tribute to Naomi. Following Naomi's death, McBryde and several other female country stars joined The Judds tour in her place.

McBryde is clearly excited to be part of Sunday's historic performance. "I'm nervous and excited and I CAN'T WAIT!!" she commented on Wynonna's announcement post.
