The Best Cyber Monday Mattress Deals

Amerisleep (now through Dec. 6)

At Amerisleep, take $450 off any mattress and bedroom accessories bundle with code AS450. No matter which of the brand's three mattress models you choose, you’re sure to be sleeping longer, more soundly, and more comfortably since they’re all designed with cooling, responsive Bio-Pur foam along with targeted pressure-relief features.

Bear (now through Nov. 29)

Bear's Cyber Monday deal is straightforward: Get 35% off site-wide. And if you get one of their four mattresses, you'll receive free bedding accessories up to a $325 value. Optimal temperature regulation is the core idea behind the construction of the Original Bear Mattress, so if you're a hot sleeper, this one is the best of the bunch for you.

Big Fig (now through Nov. 29)

Big Fig is offering $400 off of their mattress with code CYBER. Built to accommodate up to 550 pounds per side (or a combined 1,100 pounds total), the Big Fig hybrid mattress comprises two top layers of foam that allow for body-hugging comfort while keeping you cool. Plus, the 1,600 individually wrapped coils beneath it supply all the support you need.

Brooklyn Bedding (now through Nov. 29)

Get 30% off site-wide at Brooklyn Bedding with code CYBER30. We are long-time fans of Brooklyn Bedding, having reviewed (and loved!) their Aurora Luxe Cooling Hybrid Mattress and Cooling Mattress Protector. And luckily, they are having a massive sale on not just these products but everything on their site. Their impressive collection of 12 different mattresses spans general support to plus-size comfort, athletic recovery, and even a custom model that you can build from top to bottom.

Casper (now through Nov. 29)

At Casper, get up to 25% off their mattresses, 15% off a set of full-price sheets, and up to 60% off all clearance markdowns. Casper's deals are changing little by little over the course of the holiday shopping season, so if you see something you want, get it now!

Helix (now through Nov. 29)

At Helix for Cyber Monday, the more you spend on mattresses and other bedding, the more you save! Use the discount codes to not only score major discounts but also get two down-alternative Dream Pillows with any mattress purchase, too.

  • Take $150 off when you spend $600+ with code CYBERMON150

  • Take $250 off when you spend $1,249+ with code CYBERMON250

  • Take $300 off when you spend $1,700+ with code CYBERMON300

  • Take $350 off when you spend $2,550+ with code CYBERMON350

  • Take $400 off when you spend $2,700+ with code CYBERMON400

  • Take $450 off when you spend $2,950+ with code CYBERMON450

Layla (now through Nov. 30)

For Cyber Monday, Layla is offering up to $200 off their mattresses, along with up to 60% off bedding accessories. We think this brand is a standout for its originality: While certain mattress brands offer either just one type of mattress or a couple of different firmness options, the Layla Hybrid Mattress combines these two offerings into one meticulously designed product. This unique mattress comprises four layers of memory foam that are arranged specifically so that sleepers can reap the benefits of their chosen side, as well as a layer of pocketed coils sandwiched right in the middle.

Nectar (now through Nov. 29)

Right now, Nectar is taking 33% off site-wide. Our top recommendation is for their original Nectar Memory Foam Mattress. This 12-inch-high mattress is on the firm side (particularly for side sleepers), but every element from its soft, quilted cover to its three memory-foam layers comfortably contour the body without any cratered feeling. In our own experience in sleeping on this foam mattress, we've found there to be no unstable sinking or uncomfortable pushback when lying on its surface.

Nolah (now through Nov. 30)

Nolah is offering specific discounts on all five of their mattresses. Nolah's mattress construction is different from other brands' because they don't just feel cool at the surface level. Most of these models are equipped with AirFoam, which dissipates body heat instead of retaining it while also providing exceptional pressure relief. No matter which mattress model you choose, there's a Cyber Monday deal to take advantage of:

Purple (now through Nov. 28)

Right now, you can get a new Purple mattress for $300 off and 25% off their sleep accessories. Purple's mattresses feature a responsive grid-shaped top layer that's made of a proprietary hyper-elastic polymer, but their Hybrid Mattress has individually wrapped coils for users who want more of a grounded feeling than foam can usually provide on its own.

Saatva (now through Dec. 5)

At Saatva, get 18% off site-wide by using our exclusive link. If you're looking for the innerspring mattress of your dreams, there's almost no brand we recommend more highly than Saatva. While their collection does include memory-foam and hybrid mattresses, their innerspring mattresses like the Saatva Classic Mattress are specifically touted by Good Housekeeping as being some of the most comfortable and supportive sleep surfaces that you can buy.

Tuft & Needle (now through Dec. 2)

You can take up to $750 off on Tuft & Needle's three available mattress styles: The T&N Original, Mint, or Hybrid — the Original is a great bed-in-a-box choice for those who want a classic foam-mattress feel. The brand is also offering up to 25% off accessories (think bed frames, nightstands, and bedding sets) for this sale only.

Vaya (now through Dec. 6)

Take $300 off of the Vaya mattress and get two free pillows with code VAYA300. At first glance, this mattress looks too simple, but we think that's exactly what makes it so great. It comprises two layers of open-cell foam that help you sleep nice and cool while keeping your spine in the right alignment. So, no matter how you sleep, the mattress will contour to your body shape without pushing.

Zoma (now through Dec. 6)

At Zoma, take $150 off any mattress and get two free pillows with code WIN150. Even though Zoma's Hybrid and Start mattresses were designed with athletes in mind, the benefits go way beyond the big leagues. Both models have a top layer of foam that reacts instantly to movement instead of slowly sinking. They're also covered with flexible knit covers that feel quite dreamy.

When Is Cyber Monday 2022?

Cyber Monday 2022 is on Monday, Nov. 28. Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday signify the beginning of the winter shopping season in the lead-up to the December holidays.

What Should I Look for When Buying a New Mattress?

If you're buying a new mattress online, always check the trial period and return policy of the product. As Lexie Sachs, executive director of the Textiles, Paper & Apparel lab at the Good Housekeeping Institute says, “I would say one of the most important things to look for when shopping for online mattresses is the return policy,” she says. This is your insurance in the event that the product doesn’t work for you. “Most online brands offer at least a 100-day return policy, but the specifics can vary with things like return pick-up fees and how to schedule the return. It’s also worth checking what happens to the mattress if you don’t keep it, like whether the brand will donate it to a local charity.”

You'll also want to look at the materials used in the mattress and decide whether you want something responsive like foam, bouncy like a hybrid mattress, or a cooling mattress if you sleep hot.

What's the Difference Between a Hybrid and Memory Foam Mattress?

A memory foam mattress comprises an all-foam build. These mattresses tend to not have any bounce to them but instead cradle the sleeper from head to toe. Hybrid mattresses contain layers of memory foam and a base layer of innersprings. The sleeper will feel they are suspended on the surface of the mattress, and there will be more of a responsive bounce instead of a sunken feeling.

Choosing the better type for you is a matter of personal preference and knowing how you (and your bed partner) sleep. Sachs says, "Just consider the type of feel you’re looking for and identify what your idea of comfort is. Foam will give you a pressure-relieving, sinking-in feel, while innerspring mattresses have more of the bounce feel you expect from traditional mattresses."
