You Don't Know Me viewers all have the same complaint about the Netflix show
Finally. A new crime drama to keep us entertained. Netflix recently acquired the BBC's courtroom thriller You Don't Know Me, about a man on trial accused of murder. Since the show dropped on the streaming service, viewers have taken to social media to voice the same complaint.
As the show's official synopsis explains, "A young man from South London, Hero, is in the dock for murder. The evidence against him is overwhelming, but rather than let one of the barristers decide what's in his best interest, he chooses to exercise his right to tell his own story, in his own words.
"His story is extraordinary, it's about the woman he loves, who got herself into dangerous trouble. It's about how he risked everything to save her. He swears he's innocent, but in the end, the only thing that matters, is if you believe his story or not."
*Spoilers* In the final episode, You Don't Know Me gets quite confusing, with viewers watching two alternate endings play out for Hero: one where he's found guilty, and one where the jury decide he's innocent.
This hasn't gone down well on social media, with fans all taking to Twitter to make the same complaint. "You Don’t Know Me on Netflix should be called You Don’t Know The Outcome," one person joked.
Another said, "How they gonna end You Don’t Know Me on Netflix like that" and "The ending of You Don’t Know Me…. @netflix we need answers."
Someone else added, "So did he get guilty or not guilty on You Don’t Know Me on Netflix???? So annoyed with the ending. [sic]"
