Charli and Dixie D’Amelio have left TikTok’s Hype House.
The sisters don’t have any beef with any of the Hype House members, but Charli and one of the founders did just break up.
It’s a sad day in TikTok land, y’all—and yes, even sadder than that time Charli D’Amelio and Lil Huddy (Chase Hudson) announced their breakup on Instagram. I regret to inform you that the golden days of the Hype House are over, because Charli and her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, have left to pursue other interests. I’ll give you a quick moment to process this.
In a recent Hollywood Reporter feature, a representative for the D’Amelios confirmed Charli and Dixie quit the Hype House. “When the Hype House started to become more of a business, Charli and Dixie stepped away from that aspect,” their rep said. “While their businesses are separate, their friendships with the members continue.”
So, yeah, Charli and Dixie won’t be making #content with Hype House anymore, but they likely have a bunch of new endeavors lined up for the future—see: their yet-to-be confirmed reality TV show with their mom and dad.
“I mean, definitely something that would be super fun,” Charli said of possibly bringing her #content to a bigger screen. “For people to kind of see what goes on when we’re not just posting TikToks. I feel like no one really gets to see, but people are always talking about how they think our family dynamic is pretty cool.”
Hate to see these girls go, but excited to see what’s next for them! (Now, where can I sign up to be a Hype House member??)
