Spring 2017 is kind of a big deal for Donatella Versace’s diffusion line, Versus. Not only is the brand celebrating its 20th year in the biz, but this collection is its first since the departure of creative director Anthony Vaccarello, who announced this past April that he’d be replacing Hedi Slimane at Yves Saint Laurent.

And while the new season offerings that walked the runway in London late Saturday evening may not have been revolutionary, they certainly fit right in with the current millennial market — starting with the show’s opening model, pants-less insta-girl Bella Hadid. Her model sister, Gigi Hadid, watched on from the front row with her ex-boy bander boyfriend, Zayn Malik, as well as Jordan Dunn, Winnie Harlow, and Serayah McNeill.

The clothes were equally as current: Versus is banking big on logo-mania, with many pieces bearing the brand’s name on patches and scrawled across the bottom of a mesh sports bra, a la Calvin Klein. Mesh inserts, slashed denim, and strategically-placed cutouts were just as plentiful, including dresses and tops cut to reveal slivers of hip bones — muffin tops, beware.

The gritty, leather and bomber jacket-filled collection was also big on hardware detailing, with zippers, grommets, and belts adorning many of the pieces. Two of the looks included tops that appeared to be nothing more than wide belts. Sure, it could be a styling suggestion for the runway, only — but we wouldn’t be shocked to see the Hadids’ BFFs, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, rocking the look IRL in the near future.
