Donald Trump’s Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Is Now Literally in the Trash

Madame Tussauds finally found a new home for its Berlin wax figure of President Donald Trump: an actual dumpster.

The Berlin Madame Tussauds location clearly took the “dump Trump” chant very literally. As of Friday, October 30, the statue could be seen in a dumpster surrounded by “You’re fired!” and “fake news” tweets, a MAGA hat, and bags of trash in front of a Trump Tower facade (at least, before they wheeled him out completely).

“Today’s activity is rather of a symbolic character ahead of the elections in the United States,” the museum’s marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag told Reuters. “We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trump’s waxwork as a preparatory measure.”

Of course, people had thoughts—as well as some suggestions. “Best place for it, regardless of the election outcome,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Should save it and place it behind jail bars soon enough,” another added.

One person even suggested going further. “Now if only Disney World would follow suit and toss the audio-animatronic Trump currently sullying The Hall of Presidents,” they tweeted.

Many people, though, just found it funny.

Somewhat surprisingly, this isn’t actually the first time the Berlin location of the museum has used its waxy Trump to make a political statement. Earlier this October, the statue wore a mask in front of his tower, surrounded by tape and signs reading, “Quarantine. Keep distance!” Despite downplaying the coronavirus pandemic for months, Trump and members of his family and administration had tested positive for the virus a few days before the display.

Obviously, should Joe Biden be elected president, Donald Trump isn’t just going to go away (though he has told a few states during recent rallies that they'll “never see him again” if he loses).

Once again, here’s a friendly reminder that you need to vote on or before November 3!
