Did Donald Trump just insult the Queen?
Donald and Melania Trump visited Windsor Castle on Friday for tea with Queen Elizabeth II, but it seems the US president may have “insulted” Her Majesty.
During the first meeting between the Trumps and the British royals, eagle-eyed Twitter users have counted the number of Trump’s actions that may have been classed as rude.
First of all, he apparently made the 93-year-old wait for him for 10 minutes as he sat in his helicopter for an unknown reason.
When he did greet her, Donald shook her hand instead of bowing and proceeded to turn his back on her for a few seconds. *face palm*.
They also spotted he left his jacket open and flapping and his too-long tie trailing.
Trump has also turned his back on the Queen. I have always believed this to be a mortal insult to a monarch. #offwithhishead #pulledapartbyhorses

While these aren’t the worst gaffes in the world, especially in Trump terms, they may well leave a bad impression on the queen.
However, it seems his 48-year-old wife Melania was trying to impress as the president revealed she’s a huge fan.
“My wife is a tremendous fan of hers,” he told the Sun. “She has got a great and beautiful grace about her.”
Despite the less than traditional greeting, the royals treated the Trumps to treated to the guard of honour ceremony and proceeded to enjoy tea together.
Earlier this week, the first lady wore an off-the-shoulder, yellow J. Mendel gown and silk Manolo Blahnik pumps, drawing comparisons to Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
Oh dear. It’s not been the Trump’s week.
