Donald Trump sends all-caps tweets after John McCain's funeral

President Donald Trump did not attend Senator John McCain's funeral yesterday and instead enjoyed a round of golf, but still managed to make his presence known through his ever active Twitter account. Trump was publicly not invited to McCain's service held in Washington D.C., where Meghan McCain had some pointed words for the current POTUS.

The most telling reference came as she spoke about America's true identity. “The America of John McCain is generous and welcoming and bold,” McCain said. “She is resourceful and confident and secure. She meets her responsibilities, She speaks quietly because she is strong. America does not boast because she has no need to. The America of John McCain has no need to be great again because America was always great.”

Her use of the Trump slogan has blazed across headlines, which clearly caught Trump's attention. Following the funeral, Trump fired back by tweeting in all capitals, "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Trump's history with the McCain family is not a good one: he has openly mocked the Senator a number of times and tweeted a terse message when the Senator passed away.

However, People reported that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were in attendance. Former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush were also on hand to give eulogies. Both were accompanied by Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, resulting in a viral candy-sharing moment between President Bush and Michelle Obama.
