Dolly Parton is gearing up to host the 2023 ACM Awards!

Ahead of the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards on Thurs., May 11, the "Jolene" singer, 77, is opening up about how the night will go with her co-host Garth Brooks' wife being in attendance.

Per Fox News, Parton set up a pop-up shop in Frisco, TX for fans to enjoy ahead of tonight's show, where she opened up to the outlet about Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood being in the audience. And that simply means she'll have to be extra pleasant to her co-host!

"It's going to be a good night I think," Parton explained. "We're going to have fun and I think Trish [Yearwood] is there as well. We're friends actually, I've just never hosted with him [Brooks]."

"I've known them for a long time, they're both just wonderful. I don't know if she's singing or not, but I know she's there, so I'll have to be nice," she added before joking, "She's Jolene you know?"

During a press conference held before the award show, Parton also mentioned that she didn't want Yearwood "kicking" her butt if she were to perform with her husband, who is hosting for the first time.

“You know, he’s kind of nervous,” Dolly divulged. “He said, ‘I’ve never done this.’ I said, ‘Well, are we going to sing something together?’ He said, ‘Oh, no, I’m going to do good just to get through this.’ I said, ‘Oh, good Lord, you’re Tarzan!’ He just swings through the auditorium on a rope or something.”

“We’re not singing together,” she clarified. “I think Trisha is going to be on, too, on the show, so I figured that I’m not going to mess with that. I don’t want her kicking my little short butt!”

The ACM Awards are taking place tonight at 8 p.m. in Frisco, TX at the Ford Center at the Star.
