Hot girl summer is for everyone — including Dolly Parton, who just embraced the theme of this summer in the most iconic way. (After all, she practically invented it by funding the Moderna vaccine.) The singer-song writer recreated her 1978 Playboy cover for her husband Carl Thomas Dean's birthday. She posted a video to Instagram to share the gift and the new version of the cover from her latest photoshoot.

In the video, the country music star is wear a black corset with matching black gloves, pink bowtie and cuffs, and black bunny ears

"Today is July 20, it's my husband Carl's birthday. And you're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this. Well, it's for my husband's birthday," she explained to her followers. "Remember some time back I said I was gonna pose on Playboy magazine when I'm 75? Well, I'm 75 and they don't have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy."

The 10-time Grammy winner continued, "I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy. He still thinks I'm a hot chick after 57 years and I'm not gonna try to talk him out of that."

The music legend then held up her husband's gift: a framed side-by-side of the original cover and her new recreation. "What I did for his birthday, I did a little photoshoot in this little outfit and I had a cover made of the new Dolly — or the old, new Dolly," she said.

She added jokingly that she was "kind of a little butterball" in the original cover. "Well, I'm string cheese now. But he'll probably think I'm cream cheese, I hope," she said with a wink.

The adorable video ended in Parton showing her husband his one-of-a-kind gift. Parton captioned the post, "It's always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl 💝 Happy birthday my love!"

Back in 2020, Parton revealed her wish to pose for Playboy again at age 75 to 60 Minutes Australia. "I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again," she said "See, I did Playboy magazine years ago and I thought it'd be such a hoot if they'll go for it — I don't know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."
