Fans of the Disney Dole Whip (lol) (every person on this planet, basically) know it's actually painful to go long stretches of time without access to the world's best treat. Dole, it seems, has finally worked to rectify this pain, and is releasing a line of "spoonable smoothies" that are meant to taste like Dole Whips.
The smoothies, which can be found in the freezer aisle of your local supermarket "soon," Dole says, will come in strawberry banana and pineapple banana flavors. While the strawberry banana variety sounds delicious (it's "topped with perfectly ripened strawberries and toasted granola"), it's the pineapple banana snack we're here to talk about: That's the one that's specifically modeled after the famous treat.
The 180-calorie smoothie is similarly "topped with naturally sweet pineapple and crunchy granola" as well as toasted coconut and blended down pineapple, according to the company's site. You're meant to keep it in your freezer until you're ready to eat it, then all you have to do is thaw it out for half an hour and have at it. If you can't wait that long, which, fine, you also have the option of heating that lil baby yummy smoothie Dole Whip up for a mere 30 seconds straight out of the freezer.
Another small detail we already know: When the smoothies finally arrive in supermarkets (soon!!!), they'll go for about $4.
You can read more about the Spoonable Smoothies (and the acai bowls, which also sound great but are obviously less important at this particular moment) here. Otherwise, I'll see you around your go-to freezer aisle. Watching. Waiting.
