Dog Mom Goes Viral for Going Above and Beyond to Protect Pup From Rain
While some dogs absolutely love the wet weather, not every pooch is a fan of the rain. That must be the case for one spoiled pooch whose mom decided to think of one creative way to keep those raindrops away.
She turned a clear umbrella upside down and held it over her pup the entire walk. The dog didn’t seem to mind, although he was still hopping in puddles along the way. Such a little dog is sure to get some type of wet during a rainy walk, after all.

Despite how cumbersome it was to carry the umbrella over the dog, it seems this Tik Tok user has found the ultimate rainy day dog walking hack. All you need is a clear umbrella and some upper arm endurance.
While some dogs might be spooked by the umbrella, this little dog doesn’t seem to mind one bit. He may have just created a trend along with his mom; so many people on Tik Tok commented saying how good of an idea it is. We can’t imagine that it would be all that comfortable. The things we do for our pets!
One commenter asked if they made the umbrellas in German Shepherd Size. “I have a big but sensitive baby who doesn’t like the rain,” she said. We can only imagine how funny that would look on a big dog!
There’s no denying that seeing someone do this to any size of dog would provoke a few laughs. It’s not every day that you see a dog get this spoiled—but we’re here for it! And so is he, clearly.
If your dog is too big for the umbrella trick, there’s always the option of getting them a raincoat. This little dog would have benefited from one, too, but in a pinch, the umbrella works great!
