Does Jen Find Her Superpower on Hulu's Extraordinary?

In Hulu's new sitcom, Extraordinary, everyone is granted their own superpower when they turn 18... except for Jen, who's 25 and still waiting to get hers. The eight-episode comedy series explores Jen's journey as she desperately navigates the world without powers. To discover her potential superpower, she must find a way to be content with herself as she currently is.
Along the way, she comes across other people like her BFF/roommate Carrie and human shapeshifter Jizzlord, who help her discover her best qualities with or without a superpower. So, does Jen end up figuring out her superpower at the end of Extraordinary season one? Read ahead to find out.
Does Jen discover her power in Extraordinary?
Throughout the series, Jen tries just about anything to see if she can get her own superpower. From anxiety-inducing dentist visits to random internet tips, she's gone through every motion to see if she'll be granted the privilege of power that everyone else received when they turned 18.
After meeting Jizzlord, she admits that she has a fear of being left without powers and being ordinary. "I'm scared nothing will change and then I won't even have hope. I'll just have... me," she says.
In the season finale, Jen is on a mission to go to an expensive clinic that promises to pull out her superpower. When she doesn't raise enough money for the nearly $15,000 procedure, one of her former boyfriends, Gordon, offers to pay for her. Gordon reveals he's made large amounts of income because of his superpower, which instantly makes people orgasm with a single touch. "I've been supplementing my income by providing a service to...unfulfilled women," Gordon says in the season finale. "It's just pocket change. Straight women just paid off my student loan."
At the end of the episode, we're left with a cliffhanger and don't discover Jen's superpower. It isn't revealed what happens after Jen follows through with the procedure, but thankfully, the U.K. comedy series has been renewed for a second season. Here's to hoping things work out for Jen in the upcoming season.
