The best time to visit Epcot is probably during the annual International Food & Wine Festival. The event, which began in 1995, is like a normal Epcot visit with a ton of extra food options available throughout the World Showcase, the 11 nation-themed pavilions that make up the southern half of the park.

This year, in a move that makes a lot of sense of a company with a mouse as a mascot, Disney added Emile’s Fromage Montage, a cheese-themed food crawl named for the gluttonous older brother in Ratatouille. The crawl encompasses five different cheese dishes available for purchase around the park.
- Impossible Cottage Pie with Mozzarella at Earth Eats A vegetarian dish with Impossible-brand ground meat, carrots, mushrooms, peas, cauliflower, white beans, and mozzarella, $5
- Black Pepper Boursin Sofflé at The Cheese Studio Comes with fig marmalade, $5
- Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese at The Alps Served with baby potatoes, cornichos, and a baguette, $5
- Schinkennudein at the Germany Marketplace A pasta grain with ham, onions, and cheese, $4.25
- Pão de Queijo in the Brazilian section of the World Showcase A Brazilian cheese bread available, $4.50
At each stop, you can get a special stamp for your Food & Wine Festival passport. Get all five and you can visit Shimmering Sips for a complimentary slice of specialty cheesecake with an Emile’s Fromage Montage design and flavors of coconut and pineapple.
That, quite frankly, is a lot of dairy, so you might want to split the dishes with your family if you decide to tackle the crawl.
But if that just isn’t enough cheese, there will also be a variety of cheese tasting seminars with regional themes and drink pairings along with a more intense (and expensive) session led by a fromager.
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival started on August 29 and runs through November 23, giving you at least five days to digest all of that cheese in preparation for every true glutton’s favorite holiday: Thanksgiving.
