One of the most hotly anticipated streaming services is about to launch. Are you ready for it?

Disney+ arrives Nov. 12 with a mix of new content and old favorites that it hopes will set it apart from a crowded field of streaming services. Movies like "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "Bambi" now have a streaming home, joining modern classics from the Marvel, Pixar, "Star Wars," and "Muppets" franchises. TV shows from "The Simpsons" to "DuckTales" are available.

The streaming service is also home to new content, most notably an original "Star Wars" series, a "High School Musical" spinoff and a Jeff Goldblum documentary series.

'The Mandalorian' comes to Disney+

The new series set in the "Star Wars" universe follows the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal, "Narcos"), a bounty hunter working in the years after the fall of the Empire. The show also stars Giancarlo Esposito ("Breaking Bad"), Gina Carano ("Deadpool") and Carl Weathers (the "Rocky" movie franchise).

'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series'

This series follows students and teachers at the high school used as the set for "High School Musical" who decide to put on a production of "High School Musical." The mockumentary's tongue-in-cheek approach "offers enough new and old music to satisfy fans but creates modern new characters to anchor the stories," USA TODAY's Kelly Lawler says. Disney+ has already announced that it's ordered a second season.

'Encore!'

What happens when the cast of a high school musical tries to create a second act? That's the premise of this new reality series hosted by Kristen Bell, who reunites former classmates to have them recreate the high school musicals they starred in years earlier. The high school-turned-adult reboots will include "The Sound of Music" and "Annie."

'Lady and the Tramp'

Disney has been on a kick to reboot its cartoon classics as live-action movies with new versions of "Cinderella," "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King," but all those films were released in movie theaters. This one will be the first new live-action version on the new streaming service. And yes, it stars real-life dogs as the sophisticated Lady and the mutt she falls in love with.

'Forky Asks a Question'

The "Toy Story 4" character, made out of a spork, a pipe cleaner and some googly eyes, has questions about how the world works, to be answered in 10 shorts. The series tackles important issues like "What is love?" and "What is cheese?"
