The magic of Disney can transcend the actual parks themselves at any given time, but Disney has made that extra possible this year by showing behind-the-scenes looks at how they decorate, streaming original movies ahead of their planned releases, and sharing some of their fan-favorite recipes. Earlier this year, savory staples like the grilled cheese and mac & cheese were posted online, and just in time for Christmas, all of the best cookie recipes are being shared via the Disney Parks Blog.

Specifically, in honor of National Cookie Day earlier this month, Disney opened the vault of cookie recipes that park goers know and love. One of their most iconic cookies is the Molasses Crackle Cookie that is typically found at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The cookies are both sweet and spicy, and yet they only require pretty basic ingredients to recreate them at home.

According to the recipe, all you need is canola oil, granulated sugar, molasses, egg, flour, baking soda, ground ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Most of these are pretty standard—you may just need to run to the store and pick up some molasses if you don't have that on hand. From there, you'll want to mix the oil and sugar, then add the molasses and egg, and finish the dough off by mixing in your dry ingredients.

Save a half-cup of sugar to the side so you can roll the dough in it before baking to achieve the sweet crackle top of the cookie. After that, all that's left to do is bake them at 350 degrees for 10-to-12 minutes and cue up a classic Disney movie. Easy enough!
